Are you faithful to use the gifts that God has given to you?

If you are born of the Spirit of God, then you have been given gifts to use in the body of Christ. Ephesians 4:7-8 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ's gift. "Therefore He ascended on high.  He lead captivity captive, And gave gifts to men." When we have been given a gift we need to unwrap it and use it.  Enjoy it and thank God for it. Beloved, God has given all of us certain gifts to bring glory to God and to bless others. I love how the Lord adds to our faith when He sees that we are faithful for what He has given us. As He sees that we are faithful in the addition of our gifts, He then multiplies the fruit that the gifts produced. Acts 2:46-47 So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house,  they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,  Praising God and having favor with all people.  And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. When we are faithful in

Trusting God when you do not see the whole picture.

God is always working behind the scenes of our life. He has heard our cries and listened to our prayers and He knows what is best for us. Psalm 6:9 The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. God sees the whole picture from His vantage point. We only see a few pieces of the puzzle. He is the one who designed the puzzle so He knows where the pieces fit and when to place them. Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they were all written,  the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. When we work on a puzzle we can see where some of the pieces fit.  We see a piece we are sure will fit, but it doesn't.  There is another piece that must be attached to it in order for it to fit.   God has that other piece.  When you are ready, God will put the other piece in place and it will be a perfect fit.  In his time and in His way. You will be able to see more of the picture of your life.  It will take patience a

The natural and Supernatural working together.

Sometimes we don't take the time to really think about what we are reading in God's word.   It takes asking the Holy Spirit to reveal what the hidden truth is, so that we can apply it to our life. Jesus did many things where He used the natural to produce the Supernatural. 1 Corinthians 1:27 But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things that are mighty. Beloved, God's word is full of examples when God used the natural and the Supernatural together. Luke 5:4-6 When Jesus had stopped speaking.  He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. (Plural) But Simon answered and said, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing, nevertheless at Your Word I will let down the net . (Singular) and when they had d one this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. Had Simon let down the nets, as Jesus had

Are you having an intimate relationship with Jesus.

There are many different Jesus' people worship.  One of their own making. Cults around the world have a different Jesus. I want to talk about the Jesus of the bible.  The one who gave His life for you and me. Jerimiah 29:12-14 Then they will call upon Me and go pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. To have an intimate relationship with Jesus our Lord and Savior, we must spend quality time with Him.  Looking into His word in order to have a deep understanding of just who He is and what He wants from you. INTIMACY means: (Into me He sees. Yes He sees) all we are and will be. Philippians 2: 6-9 Who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God. but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and  co m ing in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man , He humbled Himself and became obedient  to the point of death, even the death of the cro

Trusting God's promises, backed by His faithfulness and His word.

Have you studied all the promises of God? Of course not. Since there are said to be over 7000 through out the bible. Someone did a study years ago and said there were over 7000.   I have not found near that many, but will take the brothers word that there are. 2 Corinthians 1:20 For ALL the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. What is the definition of the word promise? Its a gift graciously bestowed to us by God for those who have received Jesus and believe His word. A promise is a legally binding declaration that we have a right to expect the performance of, followed by a specific action. It is a declaration or assurance that someone will do a particular thing. Beloved, when God's word says ALL   the promises of God are yes, believe Him. Because of God's great love for us, we have been given those promises. Romans 8:37-39 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that nei
