PLACING OURSELVES IN THE LORD'S HANDS IS THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE. DON'T ALLOW A STRESSFUL SITUATION TO DISCOURAGE YOU, TRUST GOD , HE IS BIGGER THAN ANYTHING THAT CAN HAPPEN IN YOUR LIFE. WHEN YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU KNOW TO DO, ALL THAT GOD'S WORD SAYS TO DO, THEN START PRAISING THE LORD! PRAISING GOD WILL CHANGE YOUR ATMOSPHERE AND YOUR PROBLEM WILL SEEM SMALLER AND SMALLER. Remember Paul and Silas in the  prison? They were beaten with rods. Beaten and bloody, and in the deepest nastiest cell and fastened their feet in stocks.  (Read all of acts 16, it will bless your day) Acts 16:25-26  (Read the whole chapter) But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing to God and the prisoners were listening to them. TO BE LIKE JESUS WE ARE TO SEE WHERE HE WENT ON THIS EARTH AND WHAT HE DID. HE WENT TO THE BROKEN AND WOUNDED IN LIFE AND HAD LITTLE TO DO WITH THOSE OF GREAT REPUTATION. THE LEPER, THE WOMAN AT THE WELL, MARY, LAZARUS SISTER.  PROSTITUTES. HE SPENT TIME WITH THE DOWN AND OUTER'S.  ROUGH FISHERMEN, PEOPLE WHO WERE LOOKED DOWN ON.  PEOPLE THAT WERE HATED,TAX COLLECTORS, THAT JESUS TURNED INTO GREAT DISCIPLES. DOES THIS GIVE YOU A PICTURE TO GO BY, WHEN YOU ARE MINISTERING TO THOSE BROKEN IN YOUR WORLD? The gospel is for them as well as others. Jesus came to set the captive free.  People that are captive to the enemy, or their own negative thinking. JESUS CAME TO SAVE SINNERS LIKE YOU AND ME. PEOPLE WHO KNEW THEY NEEDED A  SAVIOR. PEOPLE MAKE EXCUSES FOR THEIR BLUNDERS, SAYING THINGS WILL CHANGE. MANY THINGS MAY CHANGE, BUT GOD'S WORD REMAINS THE SAME, AS IT IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN FOREVER. ISAIAH 40:8 THE GRASS WITHERS AND THE FLOWER FADES, BUT THE WORD OF OUR GOD STANDS FOREVER. GOD'S WORD HAS ALWAYS BEEN TRUE AND ITS TRUE TODAY, NO MATER HOW THINGS AROUND US CHANGE, AND LOOK TO US. DURING TOUGH TIMES WE ARE SEEING SO MUCH COMPROMISE.  SAD TO SEE PEOPLE DISCOUNT THE WORD OF GOD.   IT IS LIFE TO THOSE THAT CHOOSE TO BELIEVE, EVERY WORD JESUS HAS  SPOKEN IS FOR OUR BENEFIT. PSALM 119:89-90 FOREVER, OH LORD,  YOUR WORD IS SETTLED IN HEAVEN. YOUR FAITHFULNESS ENDURES TO ALL GENERATIONS; YOU ESTABLISHED THE EARTH, AND IT ABIDES. SINCE OUR MIND IS THE BATTLEFIELD THAT SATAN WORKS IN, WE HAVE TO REMIND OURSELVES THAT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. WHEN THE  ENEMY REPLAYS IN OUR MIND PAST SINS, HE IS TRESPASSING, WHERE JESUS HAS DONE AWAY WITH THOSE SINS. THERE IS NO LONGER A RECORD IN HEAVEN OF THE SINS THAT JESUS PAID FOR. WE ARE NOT TO HAVE AN EVIL CONSCIENCE, REMINDING US OF PAST SINS AND FAILURES. Hebrews 10:22-23 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. The blood of Jesus was enough to take care of our sins, past, present and future. Believe it! When your conscience reminds you of your past, go to Jesus and thank Him that His BLOOD and His word is stronger than our conscience.  That His blood is our assurance that all sin has been washed away. MANY CHRISTIAN'S HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEIR HEALING, BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO FORGIVE. OUR HEALING OF MIND AND BODY ARE DEEPLY CONNECTED, JESUS SAID SO. UNFORGIVENESS IS A SIN.  WE MISS THE MARK THAT GOD HAS SET, WHEN WE HOLD ONTO THAT SIN. BECAUSE IT ONLY HURTS US.  I KNOW THIS FROM EXPERIENCE.   MY BODY BROKE DOWN AND I HEARD THE LORD SAY,  "JOY, AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT FORGIVE YOU CANNOT BE HEALED IN YOUR BODY"  I  FORGAVE AND MY BODY WAS HEALED OF A DISEASE THAT THERE IS NO CURE FOR. IT ONLY CRIPPLES YOU. THIS IS PROVEN OUT IN GOD'S WORD. (John 5:1-15) Read the whole thing. GOD HAS GIVEN US A VOICE ON THIS EARTH, TO BRING HOPE AND SPEAK HIS WORD, AND MUSIC IS A PART OF THAT. MUSIC IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE GIFTS OF GOD.  PERSONALLY I LIKE MOST MUSIC, I LOVE, GOSPEL, CLASSICAL MUSIC, I LOVE ROMANTIC MUSIC, VIOLINS, PIANO, HARPS, AND YES SOME COUNTRY AND WESTERN. IT'S ALL GOOD, IF IT IS SOOTHING TO MY EARS AND UP LIFTING TO MY SOUL. I have to say I loved going around the country singing gospel songs at different churches.   I loved the way the Holy Spirit touched hearts with promising words from the Lord in song.  When the prodigal son returned home, the Father had music and a party to celebrate his son being alive again. (Luke 15:11-24) God used the music of David to keep the distressing spirits off of Saul. (1 Samuel 16:14-23) verse 16, is where Saul asks to find a man who plays the harp. WE PRAY, LORD CHANGE MY SITUATION, WHEN ALL ALONG IT WAS GOD WHO PLACED THAT THING IN YOUR LIFE IN THE FIRST PLACE. WE ALL WANT TO GET OUT OF THE PLACE  WHERE WE ARE UNCOMFORTABLE. THAT OUR HUMAN NATURE. IT TAKES US BEING UNCOMFORTABLE FOR THE LORD TO MOVE US ON INTO A GREATER PLACE OF FRUITFULNESS. Like that little eaglet in its nest is comfortable and peaceful.   When all of the sudden the mother eagle begins to take the nest apart.  She first will take out that wonderful feather bed of down feathers.  She goes down to the uncomfortable leaves.   Then she removes the leaves, and gets down to the thorny branches.   By this time the eaglet is starting to panic, it hurts to be on the thorny bed.  Mother always brought the food and fed them, now no food, a thorny bed, what is going on? Finally she pushes the little eaglet out of the nest, it tumbles and falls from high up, but mother eagle swoops down and picks it back up and places it safely on a rock. (We have been plac

THOSE OF US WHO ARE CHRISTIANS, WHO BELIEVE GOD'S WORD AND FOLLOW JESUS, HAVE THE EMPOWERMENT WE NEED. WE HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVING INSIDE OF US. HE HAS GIVEN US THE POWER AND JESUS GAVE US THE AUTHORITY, TO USE HIS NAME FOR GODLY RESULTS IN MINISTRY. 2 Peter 1:10-11 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Do what things, what is Peter talking about? We are to add to our faith: Its all found in the verses of 2 Peter 5-9. Godliness, brotherly kindness, love, virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance. Study what these all mean in your life. We have to grow in our faith and in the grace of God.  We have been empowered with the Holy Spirit, and He will teach us as we grow more and more to be like Jesus.  We will need more grace as we grow.  James 4:5-6 O

DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POWER AND AUTHORITY? WE HAVE ALL POWER IN JESUS NAME, AND  IN THE WORD OF GOD.  WE HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO USE JESUS NAME,  IF WE HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN OF GOD'S SPIRIT,  WHEN WE USE THE WORD OF GOD, ITS SPEAKS TO ANY GIVEN SITUATION, IT CARRIES POWER. Satan lost his authority at the cross of Christ, he still has power, if we give it to him, but he has no authority any longer, Jesus took that from him, when He said, it is finished.  When Jesus took back what was ours before Adams sin. Adam, gave the authority he had over to Satan. In the temptation of Christ in the wilderness, Satan told Jesus, I will give you all kingdoms if you will worship me. ( Matthew 4:1-11) At that point before the cross, Satan had that authority, after the cross he lost it. We see the anti-Christ spirit working everywhere in this world today.  That spirit is working in high places to bring confusion, and deception to our world. Trying to divide and conquer. 1 John 2:18-19 Little children, it is the last hour, and as you have heard that the Anti-christ is coming, even now many anti-christ have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us ; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us, but they went out that they might be made manifested, that none of them were of us. Many that we perceive to be part of the body are not.  They want the attention and glory they receive from man, and the benefits of the wisdom of the body of Christ,but their heart is in the world. The body of Christ has spiritual insights that they want to use. They do not endure long, but have enough knowledge to twist God's word for their benefits. IS YOUR MORAL CHARACTER EVIDENT TO THOSE AROUND YOU. CAN THEY SEE AND HEAR JESUS IN YOU? Our accomplishments are nice, and our works are needed and they make a difference in others lives, but it is our character that really stands out. WHO WE REALLY ARE FROM DAY TO DAY. Psalm 101:2-4 I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will you come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set nothing wicked before my eyes;  I hate the work of those who fall away;  It shall not cling to me. A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will not know wickedness. Our moral strength and reputation are what people are really watching and hearing from us. Do we reflect Jesus' character and nature? WE ALWAYS FEEL LIKE WE HAVE TO PERFORM SOME GOOD DEED IN ORDER TO GET THE FATHER'S LOVE AND ATTENTION. We believe if we pray more, read the word more, witness more, then God will be pleased with us. That is religious thinking, not relational thinking. Religion, demands, a relationship with Jesus is love, and acceptance. Jeremiah 31: 3 The Lord has appeared of old to me saying; "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;  therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt. Just your receiving His Son gets Father's attention. You are God's child, you always have His love and attention, you have been adopted into the family of God when you accepted Jesus sacrifice for all your sins. THESE ARE EXCITING TIMES TO LIVE IN, THE ENEMY BELIEVES HE HAS BEEN ABLE TO SEPARATE GOD'S KIDS FROM EACH OTHER, BECAUSE HE KNOWS THAT THERE IS STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. ALL THE ENEMY HAS DONE, IS TO MOBILIZE GOD'S DISCIPLES TO GO AND PREACH THE GOSPEL! PRAISE GOD!! HOW EXCITING IT IS TO BE BORN AT THIS TIME, SEEING WHAT GOD CAN CHANGE IN A MOMENTS TIME. Every morning when I wake up, I find something else has happened. If you are living and breathing, you see things that you never dreamed you would see. God gives us so much time to repent from loving this world and its way of doing things. Look at the children of Israel, God was so patient with them, one minute they were serving and loving Him, next minute they had turned to Idols. Solomon was a great example for us, full of God's wisdom, yet followed idols and worshiped them. The very one that God so honored with great wisdom, turned from God. This is a good time for all of us to get into the word of God and let the word of God get into us. 1 Peter 5 :10 But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. ALL BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST AND HIS DISCIPLES, MUST SEARCH THEIR HEART AND REPENT BEFORE EXPECTING  SOME ANSWERED PRAYER. SOME ANSWERED PRAYERS MAY COME QUICKLY BUT OTHERS THAT NEED REPENTANCE FIRST, MAY TAKE A WHILE. There are so many of us that have allowed to many things to come before the Lord.   We have had our own idea of what we thought was for the Lord, yet a spirit of fear was behind it. We hang onto things just in case God doesn't come through, beloved that is not faith and it is not trusting God! We told ourselves at the sports game on Sunday, we could miss church and support our team. Have you noticed that God has used man to shut down all the idols that came before him? I remember when stores were closed on Sunday, I also remember when ball teams were open on Sunday, it sent a chill down my spine.
