We need those people in our lives who irritate us.

I ron sharpens iron, Beloved, we need every member in the body of Christ that seem to irritate us. Their actions and words will rub us the wrong way, because we need some rough edges that we have hidden, to manifest. Friction develops refinement. Iron sharpens iron. It takes different personalities and different areas of spiritual growth to make up the body of Christ. None of us have all the answers, but Praise God! the Holy Spirit does. James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.   Its when we encounter a person who feels it is their ministry to correct everyone, that causes us to pause and ask the question, why do I feel like this about what was said? Then the Holy Spirit will show us. It's amazing to me how we react to someones negative words. Remember it takes two for there to be an argument.   If ones stays quiet and does not react to what is being said, but takes it to the Lord, there will be no argument. God knows who

The difference between being tempted and tested.

There is a difference between being tempted and being tested. James 1:13-16 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God" for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin when it is full grown brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. This says it all. Jesus knows what it is like to be tempted.  He was tempted in all points as we are. Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Jesus proved that we too can be tempted, yet not give into the temptation.  He did it in His humanness, we can also draw on the Holy Spirit's  power and walk away from the temptation. 1Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow yo

God's great big hands are holding us.

Have you ever thought about God's hands.   Isaiah 49:16 See I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands. Your walls are continually before Me. When we know we are in the Lord's hands, we can relax and enjoy the journey. We can rest in God's love for us, and experience His peace. Have faith in the Lord's care for you. Always remember He loves you and longs for fellowship with you. Psalm 37: 23-25 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.   Think about God's grace for a moment. It covers more than we know. Job 5:17-18 Behold, happy is the man whom the Lord corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.  For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole. 1Peter5: 6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care  upon Him for He cares fo

Spectators or disciples?

From spectator to disciple.   So many of our brothers and sisters in the Lord, have settled for a comfortable church service, they knew there would be a couple songs, a message and hand shaking going out the door. No real fellowship. I have asked people if they remembered the sermon. So many were just counting the minutes until they could get to their favorite place to eat. Jesus was not on their mind.  Jesus was their last thought. They were only thinking o themselves. But since the new reset, their mind is on the one who controls all things, the Lord. The religious crowd is waking up and realizing things have changed. No more church as usual. They are realizing they are the church. The body of Christ on this earth. 1Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in the later times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding

Heaven is filled with music, songs are God's idea.

Music is God's idea, and heaven is full of music, as the angels sing to the Lord. Holy Holy Holy, Lord God almighty. We are told in God's word to shout for joy and sing unto the Lord.   Ex 15:1-2 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke saying: I will sing to the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and the rider He has thrown into the sea! The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God and I will praise Him; Do you have a new song for the Lord?  Have you ever started singing to the Lord and it was your own words? Coming from your heart because you Love Jesus? If you have, you can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit, as He sings through you. There is a beautiful calm, a sweet presence. Psalm 33:1-3 Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous!  for praise from the upright is beautiful. Praise the Lord with harp; Make melody to Him with instrument of ten strings. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully wi
