OUR OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORD IS EVIDENCE OF OUR FAITH.

Is God's grace conditional? Yes, the condition upon our believing that Jesus shed His blood to save us. WE MUST BELIEVE! That He has great love for us. To apply God's grace to our life, we must have faith in Jesus sacrifice for us and believe that He loves us. Romans 4:16-17 Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace,   so that the promise might be sure to all the seed,  not only to those who are of the law,  but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham,  who is the Father of us all. That's the only condition. Believing faith. Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him,  for he who comes to God must believe that He is , and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We have heard the sayings, sloppy agape and greasy grace. Is there any truth in those statements?  Yes, in some churches.  Greasy grace calls for no repentance.  Just live like you always have. Sloppy agape calls for no discipline.  We need repentance from t

SEEING THE BIG PICTURE FROM GOD'S PERSPECTIVE.

We only see our now situation,  but God sees it complete.  We need to understand that its not over till its over. Proverbs 15:3  The eyes of the Lord are in every place,  Keeping watch on the evil and the good. When you begin to question, what is going on? remember you have the God who has it all in His hands. He sees the beginning and the ending. Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing,  that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. Sometimes when we exude impatience and insist on our own way,  we bring trouble on ourselves. We push ourselves into something that God never intended for us, and then the spirit of unbelief comes knocking on our door. Now we have become frustrated and anxious before we realize what has happened. Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,  but he who heeds counsel is wise. Our stubbornness  is a sign that our flesh is in control.  When we become insistent about something and refuse couns

DON'T COMPROMISE GOD'S WORD TO PLEASE PEOPLE. SPEAK THE TRUTH IN LOVE.

We all have testing's and trials if we are believers in Jesus Christ. It's not the devil doing it, it is the Lord teaching us endurance, perseverance and trust.   He wants us strong, so that we will not fear when things suddenly come upon us. Yes, God teaches us patience and endurance and  discipline through those things we go through. James 1:2 My brethren,  count it all joy when you FALL into various trials , knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work,  that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Notice James says " when you fall"   whenever we fall it is unexpected and a surprise to us.  So are these kinds of trials and testing. James, tells us to consider it all joy.  We ask ourselves, how can I be joyful about this? You can, because you are being perfected with each trial and testing. You are becoming more like Jesus and His nature. In some churches there has been little preached about holiness

ARE YOU LOOKING FOR JESUS?

Are you looking for Jesus, is your heart longing to see Him? Jesus didn't just barge in on Zacchaeus, when He invited Himself into Zacchaeus house. He saw that he was longing to see Him. He went out of his way to make sure he heard Him and saw Him. Luke 19:1-10 Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. Now behold there was a man named Zacchaeus who was the chief tax collector, and he was rich. And as he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of a short stature.  He ran ahead and climbed up a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way.   And when Jesus came to the place,  He looked up and saw him,  and said to him,  "Zacchaeus make haste and come down,  for today I must stay at your house. So he made haste and came down,  and received Him joyfully.  But when they saw it,  they all complained, saying,  "He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner." Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord,  "Look
