REVIVAL BEGINS IN A HEART FULL OF HUMILITY AND A WILLINGNESS TO REPENT WHEN NEEDED.

Being aware of our short comings, and we all have them, is vital to seeing our need for repentance. It all started with John the Baptist. He was sent ahead of Jesus to proclaim repentance. Mark 1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Keep in mind that John spoke those words before Jesus went to the cross and paid for all those sins. Baptism was the forerunner before the cross. Mark 1:15 (Jesus spoke) "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.  Repent, and believe in the gospel." Beloved, repentance is more than just changing your mind, it is being sorry for your sin and changing your words and actions. You can only change your actions with the help of the Holy Spirit. When we have repented, we will avoid being trapped by sin. Beloved, we repent from our heart, not our head. Then we will experience God's peace and sense His love once again.   He always loves us even in our sin, but we lose

KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

When we know the love of Christ, know deep in our heart of how much He loves us, we can experience the fullness of God in our life. Ephesians 3:19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge;  that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. See Beloved, we must know that God loves us, if we are to experience all the fullness of God. When we realize Jesus' great love for us, all self effort will be in the past.  We now trust God in everything that touches our life. Have you ever studied all the names of God? It is a real eye opener.  God is so multifaceted. Right when you believe you know His fullness something new is revealed about our Lord. Like the diamond, God has many facets.  or should I say attributes.   As we grow in the Lord, more and more is being revealed to us through the work of the Holy Spirit in our life. Colossians 2:9-10 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;  and you are complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power.

WE SHOULD PRAY OFTEN AND DAILY AND BE THANKFUL PART 2

When we spend time in prayer our spirit is at peace and our mind is at rest. John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life;  the flesh profits nothing.  The words that I speak to you are Spirit and they are life. We can pray for every area of our life, asking for healing, health, provision. We pray when we first come to Jesus as our Savior.  We pray for wisdom in a given situation.  We pray for any need that comes up. Praying off and on most of the day and just communicating with our Lord.   Including Him in all we set our hands and heart to do. God loves you and loves to hear your voice calling to Him, He loves the fact that you made Him part of your day. There was an old song we used to sing, "Prayer is the key to heaven, and faith unlocks the door." When we include Jesus in our day, we are expressing our love to Him and the fact that we know He loves us and cares about all that concerns us. God's word tells us to pray with and IN the Spirit. There are many gifts of the Spi
