The natural and Supernatural working together.

Sometimes we don't take the time to really think about what we are reading in God's word.

It takes asking the Holy Spirit to reveal what the hidden truth is, so that we can apply it to our life.

Jesus did many things where He used the natural to produce the Supernatural.

1 Corinthians 1:27

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things that are mighty.

Beloved, God's word is full of examples when God used the natural and the Supernatural together.

Luke 5:4-6

When Jesus had stopped speaking.  He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. (Plural) But Simon answered and said, "Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing, nevertheless at Your Word I will let down the net. (Singular) and when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.

Had Simon let down the nets, as Jesus had said, He would have not had to call for help from the others.

Do all God says to do, no matter how foolish it may seem at times.

God used the natural to produce the Supernatural.

Beloved, does God sometimes use the natural things to get a miracle to you?  Yes He does.

Look around you, when you have prayed for a thing to happen in your life, and you will see how God used the natural to bring into your life the Supernatural.

All of us that are filled with the Holy Spirit can attest to this.

We have seen God use things and people around us to help in time of need, of healing, teaching, revealing to us God's wisdom.

I believe the next example in the Word of God, has a double meaning.

Mark 8:22-25

Then they came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch Him.

So He took the blind man by the hand and led Him out of the town.  And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.  And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking."  Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up, and he was restored and saw everything clearly.

The hidden meaning here, is  that we have the first touch which is Salvation, then like in the upper room at the birth of the church, we receive a second touch of God and now can see clearly.

There was a reason Jesus told to disciples to wait for the promise. When the Holy Spirit came they were now impowered to do the work God called them to do.

Have you had that second touch?  or are you seeing things through a natural lens.

Beloved we are all blind to the things of God until we receive that second touch.

Another good example is:

When Jesus was asleep in the boat and the devil tried to stop Him from getting to the place  where the demonic was.

Matthew 8:23-27

Now when He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.  And suddenly a great tempest arose so that the boat was covered with waves. But Jesus was asleep.

Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying "Lord save us we are perishing!"

But He said to them,"Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?"

Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was great calm.

Keep in mind the disciples had not had the second touch as yet.

Natural and Supernatural working together.

Hidden meaning:

When Jesus is in your boat or in your life, you have nothing to fear.

John 21:25

And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself  could not contain the books that would be written.  Amen.

Beloved, never put God in a box, He is the almighty powerful Lord of all, and He will use whomever and whatever He wants to in order to bring to our mind all that He is..

Thank God we have our bibles!!

We believe and we speak what we believe, that will give it life. Just like Jesus did to the storm.

Since we have the Holy Spirit inside of us, what we say carries power and activates things in our life.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21)

So speak the things that are of faith. Things of life.

Faith is:

For all I trust Him!

God Bless your day

Jesus loves you.

Love in Jesus
