We must grow in our Christian walk with the Lord

There are always indicators of our Christian growth. We are to grow in godliness, fruitfulness, and we are to know more and more about the Grace of God in our life. We are to have a prayer life.  Apostle Paul gave us a great example of prayer and our growth in the Lord. Colossians 1:9-10 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy, giving thanks to the Father who qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. We are to have quality time in the word of God, and we are to learn all we can about our Lord.  His mindset is in His word. His ways are not our ways, but, we

What is true expressions of Worship to our God

There are many different expressions of worship to our Lord. It must all come from our heart, not just our head. We worship with our hands up raised. We worship with our mouth, in song and praise. We worship in our giving to the work of the Lord. We can worship the Lord with our time. We can worship the Lord, with our body. Psalm 95:1-6 Oh come let us sing to the Lord!  Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving: Let us shout joyfully to Him with Psalms. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.  He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. The greatest worship to the Lord is to walk in His truth and to live a life that is different from the world. Most importantly, is our expression of worship,  when we take Holy communion. Remembering the death of our Lord. The use of your spiritual gifts is an act of worship to our Lord. Romans12:1
Life will take us unexpected places, but love will always bring us home. I know we have all heard this through the years, but the truth remains the same. Remember the devil will take you farther than you want to go.  Make you stay longer than you want to stay, make you pay more than you ever thought you would pay. Father God is always waiting for us to look toward home, and have a longing in our heart to return home, He will run toward us, in all our uncleanness, smelling with sin. Luke 15:13-34 (Jesus is telling the story) "And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living." But when he had spent all, there arose a famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and sent him into the fields to feed swine. "And he would have gladly have filled his stomach with pods that the swine ate, and no one
January 25th, 2019 Be careful how you handle another believer's heart. We all are on this journey of faith together.  Some are in the baby stage, some are in the teen stage of growth, and some are mature. God is looking  for love and unity  in His family on this earth.  We should never get entangled in things that are not our business,  we should keep our opinions to yourself, and take them to the Lord in prayer. We can avoid much stress and strife, if we ask the Holy Spirit to put a guard on our mind and on our mouth. Why should we allow the enemy a place in our heart and mind that will cause us stress. Yes, we all have opinions, but if they do not measure up to God's word, they are best left unspoken. Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will guide you continually, And satisfy your soul in drought, And strengthen your bones; You shall be like a watered garden. And like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Our bones become weak when we hold onto bitterness in
