Trusting God when you do not see the whole picture.
God is always working behind the scenes of our life.
He has heard our cries and listened to our prayers and He knows what is best for us.
Psalm 6:9
The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer.
God sees the whole picture from His vantage point.
We only see a few pieces of the puzzle.
He is the one who designed the puzzle so He knows where the pieces fit and when to place them.
Psalm 139:16
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they were all written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.
When we work on a puzzle we can see where some of the pieces fit. We see a piece we are sure will fit, but it doesn't. There is another piece that must be attached to it in order for it to fit.
God has that other piece. When you are ready, God will put the other piece in place and it will be a perfect fit. In his time and in His way.
You will be able to see more of the picture of your life. It will take patience and faith.
Psalm 116:1
I love the Lord, because He has heard My voice and my supplications, because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.
We can see colors in our puzzle and that gives us an idea where a piece may fit, but it doesn't. Because it is a piece for another time.
Waiting to see where that piece goes can be frustrating at times, yet with patience and obedience and endurance it will come into view.
Then more of the puzzle is revealed and the picture is a little different than it shows on the box, its not quite the same, it is better, because God has control of the puzzle. He knows what the picture of your life should look like.
If we would focus on Jesus and see Him in all we do, we would view things in our life from a higher perspective.
Like the eagle in the air has a greater vantage point then on the ground. We also have a greater vantage point when our eyes are on the our Lord Jesus Christ, and off of this world system.
Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Romans 12:2
and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
When we have our eyes on Jesus, it will effect how and what we think with our renewed mind.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue, and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.
When the pieces in the puzzle of our life just don't seem to fit, be patient and trust the Lord.
No matter what it may look like, God's word supersedes anything you may see. He has the last pieces of the puzzle.
Ask God to show you what is not visible to your naked eye as yet. Ask God for spiritual eyes to see in faith. Trusting in His word.
Proverbs 3:5-8
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.
It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.
Beloved, remember that God's ways are not our ways. He holds that piece of our puzzle until we are ready to see the picture that He has in mind.
Next time you work a puzzle I pray that God will bring this lesson to mind.
Be patient, God has it all in control.
Don't try to make a piece fit where it does not belong. That will only cause stress.
He told us what to do, and if we obey His word we will receive another piece of the puzzle and the picture will be more clear.
As you learn to see with spiritual eyes then you can expect a higher view of things happening in your life.
See things as God sees them, that is the definition of wisdom.
God Bless your day
Jesus loves you
