GOD WILL COMPLETE IN US WHAT HE HAS STARTED.

In our testings and trials, God is accomplishing much in us. Philippians 1:3-6 I Thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the the of  Jesus Christ; Beloved, notice it is God who will complete His work, we won't be doing it ourselves.   If we try, it will get in the way of the Holy Spirit working in us. The good work is Jesus transforming our life to be more like Him. So why is our self effort a waste of time? We only cause a delay, so let go! All we are to do is yield to the work of the Holy Spirit.  With prayer and filling our spiritual tank with the word of God, so that the Holy Spirit has something to work with in us. We can't fix ourselves or others, we can however offer love, mercy, and comfort by putting ourselves in the others sh...

THE GREASTEST GIFT IS GOD'S OWN SON, JESUS.

The gifts that God wants you to enjoy, are not just for you, they are for you to employ.  ( a Quote from a Pastor) Beloved, the greatest gift that we have is our Salvation in Jesus. Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him! Beloved, we have the greatest gift of eternal life. In that we have forgiveness of sins, we are given wisdom by the Holy Spirit who lives in us. We have been given the right as God's children, to use the name of Jesus as a gift. We have the gift of the Holy Spirit. We have the gift of God's grace, mercy and compassion. Our life is a gift from God. (think on that) Every breath that we breathe, speaks God's name. What a gift. Ephesians 4:7-8 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of  Christ gift. Therefore He says, "When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive and gave gifts to men." There a...

DO NOT ALLOW DISTRACTIONS TO TAKE YOUR TIME AWAY FROM SPENDING TIME WITH JESUS.

There is so much new technology that is changing things in our life. Causing distrctions. Some of it can cause a falling away from things that we know are keeping us from being productive in God's kingdom. Luke 10:38-42 Now it happened as they went that He entered  a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard is word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said "Lord do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? And Jesus answered said to her "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken from her. Beloved, Martha accused the Lord of not caring, all because of her distraction.  Here the Lord has come to their house and  Martha insults Him. But He responds in love and care. The Lord made it clear that Mary had cho...

LEARNING TO TAKE CONTROL OF OUR THOUGHT LIFE.

Do you tend to over think   at times? We all do. Then we find ourselves full of anxiety.  That will lead to an opening for the spirit of fear. Cast it out! 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (natural) but mighty in God, for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments (evil imaginations) and every high thing that exalts its self against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. Taking authority over negative thoughts Is our part, we are to use what God has given to us. Jesus is our example, when He was tempted in the wilderness, He said "IT IS WRITTEN! That is our weapon to use against anything that does not measure up to God's word. Ask yourself, has the enemy put a negative thought in my mind, Something that disturbs my peace, and makes me feel uneasy? If so, use the weapon and cast it out. Never allow it to linger.  The enemy can't get to our spirit, so he goes after our mind. James 4:7 ...
