We are to be Living letters to the world

This is about changed lives.   Lives that once lived for the world and all it offers, but now are living for Jesus Christ as His disciples. Some in the churches are converts to some denomination, they want to go to the church that they have heard about.  They have no intentions of becoming disciples of Jesus Christ, they just want to go along with the most popular group, even books have been written about that fact. 2 Corinthians 3:1-6 Do we begin to commend ourselves? Or do we need, as some others epistles (letters) of commendation from you?  You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men;  clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, the heart. And we have such trust through Christ toward God. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God, who also made us sufficie

The difference of wisdom, understanding, and revelation.

God has given us wisdom in His word.  We gain understanding with studying and applying God word. As we begin to understand God's word, we will receive revelation from the Holy Spirit.  Once you receive revelation, it can never be taken from you, it is now deep into your spirit. Revelation comes from a spiritual source, it cannot be taken from your heart. Receiving revelation will change your life, its no longer head knowledge it is heart knowledge. Our mind is learning and examining the wisdom and understanding, and as we apply that we have opened our self to receive the supernatural revelation from heaven. Galatians 1:11-12 But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ. Man can teach us the word of God, but do we retain all that we have been taught?  No!  because sometimes what we have been taught is mixed with the wor

The things we learn in motion, are delivered to us through the grace of God.

Faith is one of those graces provided for us by the Spirit of God. Our faith is developed by hearing God's word and obeying whatever He puts on our heart to do. Faith is active. We draw on the faith of God. When we walk by faith in our trials, we learn to endure. We learn the grace of endurance when we have passed the test of being patient and persevering.  We learn that we have endurance when we come through our trials. We learn courage when we come through our battles. Courage to say NO! when we need to, either to our flesh, wanting itself to be preserved or by others who insist on our time, when God has told us to rest. These three graces are so active and in motion. Faith, endurance, courage. What exactly is faith?   A firm persuasion, and a firm conviction, trusting God.  It is a supernatural gift. What is endurance? Abide under, being patient and steadfastness, abiding under trials and discipline. What is courage? A willingness to take action and display bravery. It is doing
