HOW IMPOTANT IS IT TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH THOSE OF LIKE MIND?

We all need each other.  We are one body with many members. Just being around other believers will sand off our rough edges. Yes, we all have them, no one has arrived, we are all being trained by the Holy Spirit to be more like Jesus. Ephesians 4:1-4 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering , bearing with one another in love,  endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Sometimes, we will say something and it just doesn't seem right, it is unkind or critical. You can feel your spiritual  thermometer go up. You are headed in the flesh. Back off. We are then convicted by the Holy Spirit because of His presence in the room. Psalm 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for Brethren to dwell together in unity. Beloved, we are all in different stages in our spiritual growth.  No one is any better then the other, we can be different, because

THINGS THAT WE DECORATE WITH AT CHRISTMASTIME, HOLD GREAT MEANING.

Look at your decorations and see that they speak of life in Jesus. Did you know that the evergreen tree speaks of new life? Life for us is Jesus crucified on a tree. A cut tree speaks of death, but we resurrect that tree when we bring it into our home and decorate it, this speaks of resurrection life. John 11:25-26 Jesus said, "I am the resurrection  and the life.  He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.  "And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die.  Do you believe this? 1 Peter 2:24 Who Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we having died to sins, might live for righteousness-by whose stripe s you were healed. The lights we light our home with, remind us that Jesus is the light of the world. John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them saying;  IAM the light of the world.  He who follows me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life. Candles with their sweet fragrance, remind us that our Lord's sacrifice was a sweet aroma to

DO YOU KNOW THE LOVE OF GOD, DEEP DOWN IN YOUR HEART?

Do you really believe that God loves you? His unconditional love, that you can not earn in any way, no good deed, or anything,  He just loves you, because He created you for Himself. You are His creation, and when you receive His Son Jesus as your Lord, then you are His child. Do you believe it down deep in your soul? Or is it just head knowledge? Ephesians 2:4-6 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. To know God beyond knowledge is vital to your life in the Lord. Ephesians 3:19 To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Have you experienced God's intervention in your life? If you are born again of His Spirit, you have. 2 Thessalonians 3:5 Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the l

DURING THIS BUSY SEASON, STOP, AND FOCUS ON JESUS., IT'S ALL ABOUT HIM.

Take some time to reflect on the wonder of the birth of our Lord. Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign:  Behold the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call is name Immanuel. Immanuel is translated: God with us. (Matthew 1:23) A young virgin allowed the Holy Spirit to place the seed of life in her womb. Knowing that not being married, that she would be ridiculed and shamed. Y et she chose to obey what the angel had said to her. She was chosen by God. Obeying God will sometimes look foolish and  dangerous. But the end result will bless others. Have you ever heard the Holy Spirit tell you to do something that seemed outlandish?  I have. When an 18 yr old prisoner escaped and went to his moms house.  She called me and said he's here, will you come?  Sensing that she might be in danger, I went to her home.  When I got there, her son didn't know what to do.  I had laid my purse on the floor and he kept looking at it.  I grabbed his hand and his mom

THERE IS A TIME AND SEASON FOR EVERYTHING, INCLUDING OUR WALK WITH THE LORD.

Have you ever noticed that as the seasons change so do we? (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season,  A time for every purpose under heaven: (Read 1-8) We also have seasons in our life. When at times we have little fellowship with others and other times we have great fellowship. We have a time of new understanding, and of seeing  our Lord in a new light. Brighter than before. As we grow in the Lord our inner circle seems to get smaller, and that is okay, as the Holy Spirit is doing a work in our life.  Don't look at what's past, but instead look ahead, having an expectant mind and heart knowing that God is moving things around in your life and adding new people in our life. When we choose to follow Jesus all the way, and shake off this world and its system, people will leave our life.   Some want one foot in and one foot out, they twist the scriptures to fit their desires.  That doesn't work!! Take another lap around the mountain. (Like the chil
