  Offences must come. Part 1 Matthew 18:7 "Woe to the world because of offences! For offences must come, but woe to the man by whom the offence comes! Offences come because there are things in our heart hidden to us.  The offence will  reveal what is in our heart as how we react to it, and that we need to allow the Holy Spirit to make those changes in our soul. The word Woe, it a very strong word. It denotes righteous anger.  Because of the stubborn blindness of God's people. Jesus used it on the Pharisees. Like 17:1-4 Then He said to the disciples, " It is impossible that no offences should come, but woe to him through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. Take heed to yourselves, if your brother sins against you, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.  " and if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day

  Father God, paid a dear price of His Son to make certain that we had the authority and the power to live our lives for Jesus our Lord. Luke 10:19-20 Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this,  that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. Beloved, Jesus told us that when we hear of wars and rumors of wars, raging seas, storms, and earthquakes, Rejoice our redemption draws near. How can we rejoice if we allow fear and anxiety to enter our mind? Concerned about those who have died. This is where faith in God's word comes in. 1Thessalonians 4:13-14 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep. lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. We are not

 Our hope is not a wish, it is a definite assurance based on God's goodness and the word of God. 1Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, We hear believers say "I sure hope that happens, Their speech betrays them, as it has some doubt mixed into it. That's the worlds hope, not ours. James 1:5-8 If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting , for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything thing from the Lord;  he is double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. The hope that we have is sure, backed by the Word of God and His goodness, mercy and grace. Psalm 147:11 The Lord takes pleasure in those who fear Him,  in

  When you spend time with Jesus your words will carry power and will be anointed.  Those that are around you will know that you are different, not better than they , but different. Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled, and they realized that they had been with Jesus. Beloved, see what a difference it makes when you spend time with Jesus. The disciples on the road to Emmaus after encountering the resurrected Jesus, After Jesus opened up the scriptures to them had this to say. Luke 24:32  And they said to one another, " Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the scriptures to us?" Beloved, have you ever thought about how much time that Paul spent in jail.   He was alone with Jesus allowing the Holy Spirit to impart all that Paul wrote from prison. Letters to the churches to help set things in order and to encourage and teach them

Faith is believing even though we cannot see how God will provide.  Trust Him. He never fails! Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. As I was reading Ezra and Daniel, the Lord began to speak to me about His plans and faithfulness to the children of Israel and those who are in Christ Jesus.  It also applies to those who trust in Jesus Christ today who love and follow the Lord. Did God allow the children of Israel to go into bondage?  Yes. So that Babylon would learn about the God of Israel and how faithful and miraculous He has been to His children.  When Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the temple and took the children of Israel to Babylon, and had taken the Temples treasuries,  God had a plan. He would raise up a king named Cyrus and this king would show favor to the children of Israel. Not only Cyrus but his predecessor Darius who would fulfill Cyrus's plan. They would restore all that had been taken and bless the Jews with far more
