SEEING OUR HIDDEN HEART ATTITUDES

Recently the Lord revealed something in my heart that I was not aware of. Something harmful to me. He showed me that I was avoiding listening to certain brothers and sisters in the Lord who had fallen into sin years ago. I was sure that I didn't have a judgmental spirit.  I was wrong! John 16:13-14 "However, when the Holy Spirit of truth, has come,  He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak;  He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is mine and declare it to you. The Holy Spirit asked me why I avoided certain ministers, when they have repented and have been restored? Why was God's grace  good enough for me and not them? OUCH! I had seen my self-righteousness  and judgmental spirit where they were concerned. I asked God's forgiveness and thanked Him for allowing me to seen the crack in my door where the enemy could have an entrance and could have been harassing m

RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH

There is a habit that some Christians have in just picking out a verse and running with it.  They are not getting the whole of the message when they do that. Rightly dividing the word of God takes reading the chapter.  To get the full impact of the scripture. We quote Jerimiah 29:11 And we fail to see the context of the message.   The Children of Israel were on their way to bondage. Jerimiah 29:10-13 For thus says the Lord:  After seventy years are completed at Babylon,  I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord,  thoughts of peace and not of evil,  to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me,  and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. After the children of Israel return from Babylon, then this word will apply to them. Hopefully they carried that word in their heart for t

UNDERSTANDING OUR HEAVENLY FATHER'S LOVE.

Do you have a pure devotion to Jesus? He is a perfect picture of the Father.  He reveals His nature, and His compassion for humanity. John 14:8-11 Philip said to him,  Lord show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us," Jesus said to him,  "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who seen Me has seen the Father, so how can you say, "Show us the Father"? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you, I do not speak on My own authority;  but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.  Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father in Me, or else believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. Jesus has a close relationship of love with the Father.  A fathers love is so important. It means we are cared for, loved, and secure in his arms, feeling safe. Many of us did not have an earthly fathers love growing up, we are all flawed even some of our fathers. They made mistakes like us

OUR WORDS CAN BLESS US, OR CURSE US.

What we allow to come from our mouth should be what God's word says about us. We are loved, being saved in all areas of our life.  We are saved and seated in the heavens with Christ already. It's important that we believe what God's word says to us and that we speak those things and receive life from them. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. James 3:1-6 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. For we all stumble in many things.   If anyone does not stumble in word,  he is a perfect (mature) man, able to bridle the whole body. Indeed, we put bits in the horses mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. Look also at ships,  although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. Even so the TONGUE is a little member and boasts great things, See how great a forest a
