  Some believers think that God places temptation in their lives to show them what is in their heart. This is not true, according to scripture. James 1:12-15 Blessed is the man who endures temptation;  for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord which the Lord has promised to those that love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted,  "I am tempted by God", for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.  Then when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin;  and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. Beloved, when you are being tempted with something, be it going the wrong place, buying what you really do not need, viewing things on the media that rob you of your faith and peace with God. Pray!   There is so much to consider in God's word having to do with what we inherit in Jesus our Lord. We can know the mystery of God's will. We have Divine favor, Grace, healing, wisdom, revelation knowledge and understanding, the eyes of our understanding being opened. Angels are surrounding us. When the church has been asleep or just at ease, life is still going on.  The church is a living body. Look around you and see how fast things are changing in this world we live in. I see in God's word that in order for there to be spiritual growth, we must keep our eyes and heart on Jesus and feed on His word. The answer is found in the bible.  The prayer Jesus prayed to His Father. John   17:3 "And this is eternal life, that they may know You,  the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. To know God is to be intimately  acquainted with Him.  To know and understand, to perceive and recognize who He is. Beloved, He created all that you can see, and gave man the wisdom to build on His creation. We can experience Eternal life right now if we have received Jesus as Lord. Yes, we have Eternal life and will live in heaven, however we already have Eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. He reveals to us all that the Father has revealed to Him. Too many of God's children live below their means.   They think like the world and act like the world. God wants us to experience our Eternal life right now while we live on this earth.
