For all that is in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life- is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. Beloved, the world spoken of, is the world's evil system and things, not God's creation. We are not of this world because we belong to Jesus our Lord. When we received the Lord and His grace in our life, we became His property. We no longer belong to our self. We were bought with the precious blood of Jesus. Many times we get ourselves in a mess because of wrong choices. We need the Holy Spirit to show us the way out. Confession, and repentance.
