Waiting for the blessed hope.

Are you anxiously waiting for the return of the Lord? Titus 2:11-14 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,  teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself is own special people, zealous for good works. Jesus is coming for His church, those called out ones who have new life in Him, and  those who are ready to leave this sinful world. It is amazing to me how a few evil people in this world have caused the whole world to bow to their demands, placing great fear on those who do not understand what God's word says about these times. We are to rejoice as our redemption draws near. Christians all over the world are leaving their comfort zones and reading their bibles to see what is coming next. G

Celebrating Jesus Our Resurrected Lord

Are we aware of all the implications of all the benefits of our Salvation? Not only is it our guarantee of our place with Jesus for eternity, but it carries far more for us in this life right now. It is  for our deliverance from fear, the curse of the effects of sin, which are wrong thinking, sickness and disease, and self. Definition of SELF=Serving Emotions Loving Favor. Self must yield to the Spirit. Self must die daily. 1John 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this; that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is so are we in this world. Beloved, we have been rescued by the blood of Jesus. All our mistakes, ungodliness, wrong thinking have been taken care of on the cross of Christ Jesus our Lord. I like to read all of the accounts of the crucifixion and the resurrection in the gospels, because that way we receive the full picture of the scene of His arrest, crucifixion and resurrection. John:20:19-20 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of t

The Spirit and the word.

For so long a time, the Holy Spirit was rarely preached on.  Every kind of self-help was preached. The Holy Spirit and the word are inseparable.  They are always meant to be together. Remember the word without Spirit dries up. In the parable of the sower,  Matthew 16: 3-6 Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: Behold a sower went out to sow.  And as he sowed,  some seed fell by the wayside;  and the birds came and devoured them. "Some fell in stony places,  where they did not have much earth;  and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.  But when the sun was up they were scorched, because they had no root they withered away. ( dried up )  We are told that when the word has no root system it withers away.  It dries up. A root system is given by the Holy Spirit. Our root is Jesus!! The Spirit without the word, blows up! This is all emotion in control, no room for the Holy Spirit.  They say it is the Spirit, but it is all flesh! When we have t

Worship brings the presence of God.

Like the song says, "Do we stand in awe of God? Is Jesus our first thought as soon as we open our eyes from our nights sleep? Do we talk to God about our day? (prayer) Are we excited to see what God has planned for our day? We will never meet a stranger, as we are called to be ambassadors for Christ, so whoever we encounter it will be a divine appointment. After all we only have one day at a time. Beloved, as we spend some time worshipping our Lord, we will find in His presence, peace, a clear mind and direction for our day. Worshipping the Lord causes us to focus on Jesus and who He is and to remember whose we are. Giving Him praise, and worship causes us to relax and be at peace and it fills us with joy. Psalm 16:11 You show me the path of life;  In Your presence is fullness of joy;  at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Songs of worship are great, but then so is just our focus on the Lord and talking to Him, telling him how thankful we are for His love and that He has
