WALKING WITH THE BROKEN AND WOUNDED, RATHER THAN WALKING WITH THOSE OF GOOD REPUTATION.

TO BE LIKE JESUS WE ARE TO SEE WHERE HE WENT ON THIS EARTH AND WHAT HE DID.

 HE WENT TO THE BROKEN AND WOUNDED IN LIFE AND HAD LITTLE TO DO WITH THOSE OF GREAT REPUTATION.

 THE LEPER, THE WOMAN AT THE WELL, MARY, LAZARUS SISTER. PROSTITUTES.

 HE SPENT TIME WITH THE DOWN AND OUTER'S. 
ROUGH FISHERMEN, PEOPLE WHO WERE LOOKED DOWN ON. 

 PEOPLE THAT WERE HATED,TAX COLLECTORS, THAT JESUS TURNED INTO GREAT DISCIPLES.

 DOES THIS GIVE YOU A PICTURE TO GO BY, WHEN YOU ARE MINISTERING TO THOSE BROKEN IN YOUR WORLD?

 The gospel is for them as well as others. Jesus came to set the captive free. 
People that are captive to the enemy, or their own negative thinking.

 JESUS CAME TO SAVE SINNERS LIKE YOU AND ME. PEOPLE WHO KNEW THEY NEEDED A  SAVIOR.

 For those of you who are new in the faith, this scripture reveals why Jesus came to the earth and die in our place.

 Isaiah 61:1-3
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me.
To preach good tidings to the poor;  He sent Me to heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of prison to those who are bound;

 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God;  To comfort those who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, 
To give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for a spirit of heaviness;  
That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

 When we walk with the broken, we become like Jesus.
Humble, yet bold and full of faith.

 You will grow in the Lord as you spend time with Him in prayer and reading His word.  

 The more we feed on Jesus in His word the more we grow and become like Him.
The word of God changes you.

 We all have been broken, we know what it is like to be judged, ridiculed, and left out.

 Never go with the crowd, instead, follow Jesus and walk in His footsteps.

 It's a far better life, than to seek to be popular, and self-centered. Be God centered, what would Jesus do?

 It is all about Jesus, not you. Although He did come to redeem you, but after your salvation, and you begin the journey of a deep relationship with the Lord, you will learn to die to your wants, and see this hurting world  through the eyes of Jesus , loving those that Jesus came to save.

 Pray that you see with the eyes of Jesus, and feel with His heart.

 1 John 4:17
Love has been perfected among us in this;  that we have boldness in the day of judgement ; because as He is, so are we in this world.

 Beloved, if ever there was a need in this life, it is to have a relationship with the creator of this world, Jesus.

 Has God placed the broken and wounded in your life, if He has, it is so that you will share His love, and healing power with them, share the good news, of the gospel.  

 JESUS HAS ALREADY PAID FOR ALL OUR SINS.
SO COME TO HIM, HE LOVES YOU.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. We need air in order to breathe. When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs. When we breathe, we speak the name of God. Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life. Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God. JESUS IS NOT A GLORIFIED BUTLER, HE IS THE SON OF GOD.

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD!!  YOU ARE NOT TO COMMAND HIM,  YOU ARE TO ASK HIM, HONOR HIM, AND RESPECT HIM AND HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM.  I have heard some believers young in their faith and understanding, say that they have prayed for such a thing and God will give it to them.
