THE IMPORTANCE OF SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE.

We don't get our knowledge from the world, we  get it from our Heavenly Father's words, that the Holy Spirit says He hears and delivers to us.

Hosea 4:6

My people are destroyed for lack of KNOWLEDGE, because you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from being priest for Me,

Spiritual knowledge is so important to the believer. They must know God's word.

Proverbs 2:10

When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul.

There are three Greeks words for knowledge.

Different understanding.

1. Gnosis: 

Spiritual knowledge gained through personal experience and awareness rather than logical deduction.

2. Episteme: 

Knowledge of deep understanding of concepts, theories and disciplines through reasoning.

3. Sophia: 

Wisdom, the highest level of understanding, which involves good judgment and gives us the ability to apply knowledge that we have learned.

Hebrew word for knowledge is to know.

Knowledge that is found in God's word is applicable with our walk in Jesus.

Proverbs 18:15

The heart of the prudent acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.

When we have spiritual ears to hear, we will seek the knowledge of the Lord.

Colossians 1:9-11

This is the reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy,

Beloved, when you have the knowledge from God's word, you will be calm and at peace.

Proverbs 17:27

He who has knowledge spares his words, And a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.

Wisdom, knowledge and understanding all go together. They can not be separated.

Pray to understand the knowledge that the Lord has provided for us in His word.

We need to understand the basics of our faith in Jesus.

Philippians 1:9-11 

And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all  discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Beloved, seek Spiritual Knowledge and you will have wisdom to apply to our life. Our precious Holy Spirit will give you understanding

James 1:5

If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Remember, wisdom, knowledge and understanding all go together.

Excellent teaching & so necessary in this day. We are turning our heads away from dealing with tough conversations, in the name of “love”, and so doing defiling the church by allowing what God clearly says is wrong. Lord we ask for wisdom & understanding in how to Always speak Truth in love.

LOVE IS ALWAYS WILLING TO STOOP DOWN TO HELP ANOTHER UP.

  In John 8:6, a women is thrown down at Jesus feet. Jesus bends down where the woman is at. He begins to write on the stones at the temple. Only God had written on stones.  The reality of who Jesus is, caused the religious leaders to leave. I find it interesting that Jesus told Nicodemus, a very religious man, that he must be born again. The man humbled himself and came to Jesus. GOD'S WORD SAYS HIS WAYS ARE PAST FINDING OUT, RIGHT?

  If all of God's ways are past finding out, only for those that God wants to reveal some of them to, will see a glimpse of them. Yet He revealed some of them to Noah and Moses and Paul.
