WE CAN HAVE INFORMATION AND SOME KNOWLEDGE, BUT IF IT IS NOT FROM GOD'S WORD AND NOT APPLIED, IT IS OF NO VALUE.
We can have some knowledge about the Lord, but if we do not add to that knowledge we will be stunted in our growth.
Proverbs 9:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy one is understanding.
We need to understand the knowledge we have obtained, we need to apply it to our walk in Jesus.
Colossians 1:9-12
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy, giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
We all know people who can quote scriptures, but they do not live what they say.
Some of us can relate to that, as we know it takes time to learn and grow and apply that word to our life.
We must learn to be patient with the younger believers. Always remember how patient God has been and is with us.
When something unexpected happens we react in our flesh, and not in our new born again spirit.
That's how we know what areas to submit to the Holy Spirit. Where we are lacking in knowledge and understanding.
Beloved, we see our flaws, but God sees us complete in Jesus.
We need to not be so critical of ourselves when we feel like we have failed in an area.
Just turn it all over to Jesus, He will carry it.
Information is head knowledge, obedience is from our heart because we love to please the Lord and obey his word.
We love to learn more about our Lord and His kingdom that we now belong to.
Spiritual knowledge will cause change to take place.
2Peter 1:2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied to you in knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be a partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Beloved, get your knowledge from the Word of God. It will never disappoint you.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you.
