THE LAW WAS NEVER MEANT FOR THE RIGHTEOUS, THOSE IN RIGHT STANDING WITH GOD.

 We know that the law is good, because God's word says so.

1Timothy1:8-11,

But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully, knowing this that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and the profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for man slayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for LIARS, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the  blessed God committed to my trust.

See the list of those that the law was meant for?

All of us have sinned something on that list.

Praise God for the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin.

Before we were truly saved, not just religious, and going through the motions, but before our transformation began to take place, our eyes were on the world and what it had to offer. Sin!

Even the list is found in Revelation 21.

Revelation 21:8

"But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all LIARS, shall have their part in the lake of fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

The law was necessary for the conviction of sin.

Everyone before their salvation, lied about something. 

I have had Christians look me in the eye and lie to me. The light in the pupil their eyes went dark. I loved them anyway.

We all know it takes time to grow in the Lord, so we must make allowances for those babes that do not know better yet. That have not read God's word, that sets them free.

Even a little child will lie about something. So we are no different.

Beloved, walk in the Spirit of truth, remember God's grace when others slip up.

When I pray for those who are troubled, and I ask God for extra grace for them and pray the blood of Jesus over them, I see the Holy Spirit touch them with truth.

God's Riches At Christ Expense. that's the grace meaning we pray for others.

It means to have favor, kindness and good will, an unearned gift from our Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:56-57

The sting of death is SIN, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Law exposes and arouses sin, Paul said sin does lead to death.

When the Law is set up in a building, it will reveal hidden sin by those that read it. 

Hopefully they will seek salvation in Jesus.

Jesus compared sin to sickness. Sin can be connected to some diseases or neglect of the body can also.

John 2:10

"But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins." He said to the paralytic, " I say to you arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."

Beloved, Looking into God's word can expose areas of sin in our life. God's word is the Law for us. 

John 5:14, (The man at the sheep gate pool)

Afterward Jesus found the man in the temple, and said to him, "see you have been made well. 

"Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you."

Beloved, when we read God's word, it will read us. 

It will expose hidden things in our heart.

Remember God's grace. unmerited favor. 

You can not earn it with trying harder, just receive it and each day thank God for His mercy and grace.

John 1:17,

For the Law was given through Moses, but grace and truth CAME through Jesus Christ.

Beloved, guard your mind and spirit, and follow Jesus and all that He has said, that will lead us to the abundant life that He paid for us.

If you don't know Jesus as your Savior, today is the day to invite Him into your life. Great peace a waits you, forgiveness of all your sins.

I am so grateful for the grace of God. So grateful that the blood of Jesus covers all of our sins - past, present, and future. What a gift. Thank you for sharing this powerful word, Mama Joy. ❤️

HOW IMPORTANT IS OBEDIENCE, WHEN WE ARE LIVING UNDER THE GRACE OF GOD?

Beloved, there are those that do not obey God's word, because they think that grace covers them. They believe that they can do whatever they desire, because they are under God's grace.  This is not true. Obedience to God's word with the Grace of God, will produce great results.  Grace and obedience are  team. Romans 5:17 For if  by the man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in this, life through the the One, Jesus Christ. When you live by the grace of God you will obey His word and walk in holiness.
