PEOPLE WHO RUFFLE OUR FEATHERS ARE NEEDED FOR OUR SPIRITUAL GROWTH.

We know that we are to love everyone, because Jesus loves them through us.

Paul learned this lesson.

Acts 13:13

Now when Paul and his party set sail from Pa'phos, they came to Perga in Pamphyl'ia; and John Mark departing from them, returned to Jerusalem.

This is when the separation happened between Paul and Barnabas.

But Silas was to go with Paul instead of Barnabas.

Beloved, only the Holy Spirit can manifest God's unconditional love through us.

Paul was young in his faith and would grow more along the way as he ministered the gospel.

Colossians 4:10-11

Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, with Mark the cousin of Barnabas (about whom you received instructions; if he comes to you, welcome him) and Jesus who is called Justus. These are my only fellow workers for the kingdom of God who are of the circumcision; they have proved to be a comfort to me.

You see beloved how Paul changed his tune about John Mark coming to minister.

2 Timothy 4:11,

Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for ministry.

Our emotions can cause us to hold things in our heart, until the Lord heals and takes control of those emotions.

I saw a mans shirt, it said "Jesus loves you and I am trying to.

We don't have to try and love anyone because the Lord will love them through us.

Remember if you die daily, you will not feel your feathers being ruffled.

That irritation will not be there.

Dead people cannot react to negative emotions.

Beloved, we all have them sometimes.

That reveals to us where we need spiritual growth in the Lord in that area. We have to submit to the Holy Spirit's work in our life.

I prayed for a new idea for the Thought For the day. Went to sleep and had an awful dream.

I dreamed that a man was mistreating his mother and the old unsaved Joy came up out of the grave and was so angry she told him off.

Uncontrolled emotions.

I woke and asked the Lord, why the bad dream.

He reminded me that I had prayed for a new lesson, and that was all about uncontrolled emotions.

The Lord showed me how easy it was to give into the flesh, the old me.

Beloved our negative emotions can cause havoc in our life, if we don't submit them to the Holy Spirit daily.

We must submit to the Holy Spirit's work as He transforms us to be more like Jesus. This takes time and obedience to God's word.

We must remember we were buried with Christ and raised to newness of life. We need to walk in that newness daily.

Our old self is gone, unless we open that grave and let it back in, so never give in to out of controlled emotions.

When we do give in to those emotions, it will effect our health, our sleep, and our fellowship with others.

Take a problem that bothers you, to the Lord.

Look up His word and find the scripture that you need to calm your spirit.

Pray for the peace of God to settle your bad emotions.

The Holy Spirit will calm you, all you have to do is ask for His help.

God Bless Your Day

 Jesus loves you
