ARE YOU AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT, OR A PASSIVE OBSERVER?

 These are things we need to ask ourselves.

If you are an active participant in God's kingdom, then you will bear fruit. If you are a passive observer, you will not have fruit.

We are known by our fruit. Our lives in Jesus.

Passive observers are not disciples of Jesus, because they just observe what others are doing.

John 15:8

By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit: so you will be My disciples.

The passive observer only watch what others are doing, they only do what they believe is expected of them. 

They do show up at church, but, they don't want to get involved. They just watch from a distant. Their heart is not connected to all that Jesus has taught, and all He is doing in the world. 

They may have a ministry, but it is to glorify themselves not our Lord Jesus. We all have seen this through the years. So sad they miss the wonderful fellowship of the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, it is a wonderful thing, when a passive observer comes to follow Jesus. Not just know about Him, but to personally know Him.

Passive observers feel like they don't belong. They go through the motions as though they do belong. Deep down what appears to be pride is only fear.

Fears that others will know their secrets. They carry deep anger in their soul, even for people who have passed on. 

They must learn to let go and come to Jesus. Just as they are.

Pray that God will lead you to a passive observer.

Proverbs 28:13

He who covers his sin will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

Galatians 6:1-3

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness considering yourself lest you also be tempted.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

 For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

Beloved, none of us were without sin, so we know how to help the passive observer.

Pray that the Lord will lead you to that passive observer who looks like they have it all together  when they are really falling apart.

James 5:1920

Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.

Be an active participant. Ready to be led by the Holy Spirit.

Be ready when you pray and ask God for the passive observer, He will answer your prayer.

He loves that passive observer just as much as He loves you. 

Be about your heavenly Fathers business.

THERE IS A GODLY FEAR THAT WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND.

 The fear that I am talking about, is for us to be in AWE of the God we have given our life to. Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Since it is the beginning, that means it is on going.  Teaching us every step of the way. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Matthew 10:27-28 (Jesus speaking) "Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.   But fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The Greek word for fear is terror, and dread, but the next one is for us believers.  Reverence and Awe. The Hebrew word for fear is just reverence and respect. HOW IMPORTANT IS OBEDIENCE, WHEN WE ARE LIVING UNDER THE GRACE OF GOD?

Beloved, there are those that do not obey God's word, because they think that grace covers them. They believe that they can do whatever they desire, because they are under God's grace.  This is not true. Obedience to God's word with the Grace of God, will produce great results.  Grace and obedience are  team. Romans 5:17 For if  by the man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in this, life through the the One, Jesus Christ.
