WHAT DID JESUS DO AFTER THE RESURRECTION, PART 2

When Jesus returned to His disciples, first thing He did was feed them and bless their livelihood. 

He took care of the natural first. Just as He does with us. He cares about every detail of our life.

After the miracle of the 153 fish, and the net was not broken.

John 21:12-17

Jesus said to them, "Come and eat breakfast. "Yet none of them dared ask Him "who are you?" Knowing that it was the Lord. Jesus came and took and bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.

So when they had eaten breakfast Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him "Yes Lord;

You know that I love you." He said to him, "feed My lambs. ( young believers)

He said to Him again a second time, "Simon son of Jonah, do you love Me" He said to him "Yes Lord; He said "Tend My sheep. (be a shepherd)the third time, "Simon son of Jonah , do you love Me?

He said to him "Feed My sheep". (Pastor and teacher)

Peter denied Jesus three times, Jesus had him confess three times. I love how the Lord never mentioned the denials.

I will never forget sitting on my back porch reading these verses out loud.

I heard the Holy Spirit say, you go do the same.

Feed the young believers first. Be a shepherd to to those God will bring me. Feed His sheep, teach and care for the older ones.

 At that time I didn't understand what all this meant. But God sent His servants to speak into my life to confirm my calling. Every time I tried to run from that calling, God sent someone to confirm it.

Each state that we moved to, someone was there to remind me what the Lord has called me to do. However I felt unworthy, but the Spirit said my worth is in Jesus.

I am sure that Peter felt unworthy also, but he obeyed the Lord. God looks on the heart not our lack of faith. 

Its not what you have done, or lack of education, its what Jesus has called you to do, and what He has done for you.

All our sins were nailed to the cross, past, present and future. The resurrection was proof that Jesus is Lord God.

Jesus showed such love to His disciples. As a Father He was there to remind them to GO! and preach the gospel. 

Jerusalem first. Those that were of the promise, and religious. Then Judea and Samaria. First to all the people all of Israel, then to the outsiders. the Samaritan's, mixed Jews nd Gentiles. Then all the world.

Beloved, we also are to share the gospel, sharing Jesus' love for them.

1 Corinthians 15:3-7

For I delivered to you first of all that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried and He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. 

And He was seen Ce'phas, then by the twelve, After that he was seen by over five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain to this present, but some have fallen asleep.

Think about this, they were spread all over this earth, and shared the gospel. We are to do the same. 

Whoever God places in your path, you are to share the love of Jesus with.

Yes!!!!! Everyone that comes in life. Every single day is divine appointment because God says he orders our steps. We should be ready and willing to share the good news the love of Christ to a hurting and dying world. It’s not about us. it’s all about HIM!!! Be the light in the darkness. Someone needs the love of Jesus today. ❤️

WHEN INDIFFERENCE ENDS, THAT IS WHEN LOVE BEGINS.

  Don't look for love to come to you, instead, look  where you can give it. Galatians 5:13 For you brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. If you have been buried with Christ in baptism and raised in new life, then stop looking at the old you. Give the love that you always wanted to experience before you met Jesus. That unconditional love. If you noticed while reading the gospels that Jesus went out of His way to show the Fathers love, to provide what real love looks like. Sinners flocked to hear the good news of the gospel. They felt the love. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Beloved, we are to do the same for sinners we know, who have not received Jesus yet. We only receive real love from God when we realize that real love is missing from our life. ARE WE USING THE AUTHORITY AND WEAPONS, JESUS HAS GIVEN TO US?

Beloved, sometimes we allow things to enter our life, that we need to use our spiritual authority and our weapons on to get free to do the works of the Lord. John 14:12-13 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that My Father may be glorified in the Son. When we are attacked,  We must start using the authority and the weapons that we have in the Lord.
