NEW SPRING TIME, NEW LIFE IS BUDDING IN OUR PLANTS AND IN OUR HEARTS.

Our cold winter is over, things that we did to stay warm, are changed to now stay cool.

Thank God for a new spring time. Thank Him for all the new life springing up. Thank Him for the beautiful colors that He gave us to enjoy.

Once what looked dead now has resurrected life.

As we think about our Lord Jesus and His crucifixion. We think about His body being placed in a borrowed tomb. meaning it will returned to the owner.

Remember Jesus's words. "In 3 days I will raise this temple.

John 10:17-18.

"Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I might take it again.

John 2:18

So the Jews answered and said to Him, "What sign do you show us, since you do these things"

Jesus answered and said to them "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up"

Some of the disciples remembered His words, when others didn't until He was raised from the dead.

So who raised Jesus from the dead?

Galatians 1:1

Paul, an apostle (not from man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead).

So now we see that Jesus raised Himself and the Father raised Him. 

1Peter 3:18

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit.

Romans 8:11

But if the Spirit of Him who raised  Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

So as you can see the Godhead all raised Jesus from the dead.

Many will remember His great suffering on the cross, others will remember that He is the risen Lord.

In the winter everything looks dead, but, in the spring everything comes alive.

My trees that looked dead, are now blowing in the wind to reveal different shades a green as the sun hits them.

God has blessed us with beauty and colors are bright as the earth comes alive again.

Genesis 1:11-12

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth and it was so.

And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in its self according to its kind, and God saw it was good.

Just like God has reproduced us in Himself, those who have received the Spirit of life and are saved.

The seed of life is in us, so that we too will reproduce God's life. 

When we share Jesus's love and lead other to Christ, we are reproducing ourselves for the kingdom of God.

Remember that we are one body, who serves One God. One body with many members.

Romans 12:4-5

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members, do not have the same function, so we being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Beloved, never forget that we are to reproduce the life of Jesus in those that are lost and hurting.

God gave us great examples in His word.
