CAN WE PERSUADE ANYONE TO RECEIVE JESUS?

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. Wrong! You can salt his oats and he will drink. 

We are the salt of the earth, but only the Holy Spirit can persuade anyone to receive Jesus.

John 6:44

"No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day,

Jesus made that clear, no one comes to Him unless the Father draws them.

Mark 9:49-50

"For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt. Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves and have peace with one another.

Human effort will fail, because only the compelling force of the Holy Spirit, will draw people to repentance, that will lead them to Jesus our Lord.

God offers His gift of grace, but doesn't force anyone to accept it. 

It takes the Holy Spirit to convince someone to receive salvation through the blood of Jesus. 

When their hearts are ready, and they sense God's love for them, they will receive.

Think of how many times you have heard the words, Jesus loves you.

If you have never felt love of parents as a child, you have nothing to relate to.

Beloved, it takes time and patience with those who want to believe, but they have no model to go by.

 Continue to pray for them that God will place in their path a true believer.

Ask God to soften their heart. The Holy Spirit will direct you. Our words carry great power, because the the Holy Spirit dwells in us.

Tell those you share the gospel with, that Jesus took their place on the cross, and has provided Salvation and the abundant life, because Jesus loves them.

We can quote John 3:16-17, that word will not return void.

Isaiah 55:11,

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Beloved, salt someone's oats with the word of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to make them thirsty, and He will, because He knows who the Father is drawing to Jesus.

I always share with my spiritual children to reach the hungry hearts. Because the enemy of self or Satan will try to wear you out and waste your time on one who never intended to accept Jesus. They are usually argumentative.

 They are not ready yet, they need more prayer.

If you feel uneasy in your spirit, ask the Lord why. The Holy Spirit will give you confirmation whether you should wipe the dust from your feet and move on. (As Jesus said, Matt 10:14)

Remember salt is a preservative and a seasoning.

 We are the salt of the earth so we can season what someone already has. Preserve of what someone is losing in their faith. (disciple them)

The right words at the right time in someone's life can bring understanding and help built their faith in Jesus and share the grace that He provides.

Colossians 4:6

Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt that you may know how you ought to answer each other.

Pray for people that God will open their heart. Pray that God will place people in their path that they will listen to. 

Pray for the Lord of the Harvest.

I love this...BEAUTIFUL MAMA OH THAT THE FATHER Would DRAW ALL THE EARTH SO THAT YESHUA JESUS WILL SAVE THROUGH HIS BLOOD AND THE CROSS AND WE CAN SALT THEIR OATS! LOVE U

Oh, that we would be salty, indeed! Live in the Word and live in the Spirit and you will always have His salt to share! Then season liberally! Great Word 👍 Mama Joy!

WHEN INDIFFERENCE ENDS, THAT IS WHEN LOVE BEGINS.

ARE WE USING THE AUTHORITY AND WEAPONS, JESUS HAS GIVEN TO US?

Beloved, sometimes we allow things to enter our life, that we need to use our spiritual authority and our weapons on to get free to do the works of the Lord.
