CAN WE INSULT THE SPIRIT OF GRACE BY TRUSTING IN OUR OWN WAY OF DOING THINGS?

When we choose the worlds way of doing things and ignoring Him. Yes, we can.

He is a Spirit and we have unmerited favor with Him.

Galatians 1:9-12

As we have said before, so now I say again. If anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men?  For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is NOT according to man, For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Beloved, the true gospel is the good news that Jesus paid for our sins. Washed them away.

When we choose the worlds counsel, instead of the Holy Spirit's counsel we insult the Spirit of grace.

God has given to us His unmerited favor (grace)

So why would we hinder the Spirit of grace or frustrate Him. We can hinder and frustrate the Spirit of Grace by not believing God's word or by not trusting in Jesus sacrifice for our sins,

Hebrews 10:29

Of how much worse a punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace. 

We can fall from Grace by returning to the old covenant where our sins were just covered up.

But with the NEW covenant our sins are washed away, fully paid for by the blood of Jesus.

We can fall from grace by returning to our old sinful life. 

That doesn't mean you have lost your salvation, but it does mean, you have opened up yourself to misery and deception, our actions reveal that we have abandoned our faith and our trust in Jesus.

2Peter 3:17-18

You therefore, beloved, since you know this before hand, beware lest you also fall from your steadfastness, being led away with error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. to Him be glory both now and forever.

Receiving the gift of grace does not give us a  license to sin. As some have believed and fell back into the world.

No beloved, we are to die to self, so that sin will not have an occasion in our life.

GRACE is God's riches at Christs expense.

God's gift of Grace is what reveals God's love to us. His grace empowers us to serve Him and people with His love.

Grace gives us what we do not deserve and can never earn. It is a gift!!

Our gift of Grace provides many different graces in our life. 

Providing us with opportunities and blessings from God. We have favor given to us, a positive outcome and blessing from God.

In that gift is great joy, and we can become generous in giving, serving the body of Christ.

Remember that God's grace is sufficient, for all our needs. (2Corinthians 12:9) Paul learned this lesson.

Romans 5:17

For if by one man's offence death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.

Beloved, don't frustrate, or hinder, or insult the Spirit of grace. It is your gift from Jesus to bless you and give you peace and divine favor wherever you go. 

It is for your to bear good fruit for you and as you minister to others.

THERE IS A CONNECTION BETWEEN FORGIVENESS, ENVY AND SIN IN THE HEALING OF OUR BODY.

MANY CHRISTIAN'S HAVE YET TO RECEIVE THEIR HEALING, BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO FORGIVE. OUR HEALING OF MIND AND BODY ARE DEEPLY CONNECTED, JESUS SAID SO. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
