ARE WE USING THE AUTHORITY AND WEAPONS, JESUS HAS GIVEN TO US?

Beloved, sometimes we allow things to enter our life, that we need to use our spiritual authority and our weapons on to get free to do the works of the Lord.

John 14:12-13

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that My Father may be glorified in the Son.

When we are attacked,  We must start using the authority and the weapons that we have in the Lord.

The enemy will try and trespass in our life if we become complacent, lazy, and neglect our faith.

There are times when we are self satisfied and not on our guard, we become slothful. Pride can be behind those attitudes.

1Peter 5:8

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking who he may devour, Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

I heard a preacher years ago say, the devil is like a roaring lion, but Jesus pulled his teeth out at the cross.

1Corinthians 16:13

"Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Be on your guard at all times, remember that there are a pair of combat books under that wedding garment.

The greatest weapon that we have is the blood of Jesus, and our testimony.

Revelation 12:11

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

We are to be overcomers, full of faith and boldness. We are to be humble, and trust God with everything.

We have the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. We have on the belt of truth. We wear the helmet of our salvation., and we put up  the shield of faith.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (natural) but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

We are to live a holy life, separated from the world and its deceptions. Know the word of God!

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.

Beloved, the word of God is a weapon you must use. When applied, it goes all the way to the very marrow of our bones. Think about that !!

Use what God has given to us, and know the authority that you have in Jesus Christ our Lord.

If Jesus said, "greater things shall you do, believe him, step out in faith and see what the Lord will do.

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Beloved, step out in faith and use those weapons and the authority the Lord has given to us, you will see freedom in areas of your life. 

Jesus paid for that freedom, so enter into it and it will give you great peace.

What a powerful word. And yes, we need to have our combat boots on under our bridal gown. I loved what you said about the evil one being LIKE a roaring lion. He is indeed conquered by the true Lion of Judah. Thank you for this powerful word, Mama Joy.

My people perish for lack of knowledge. Most of the church is in this sad state, but that is not what God has destined us for! We are to follow Jesus and utilize His authority over whatever tries to impede His Presence and Glory being manifest in our lives. Great Word and great reminder of His preeminence in ALL things!

THERE IS A CONNECTION BETWEEN FORGIVENESS, ENVY AND SIN IN THE HEALING OF OUR BODY.

Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
