WE RECEIVED A NEW HEART WITH OUR NEW BIRTH IN JESUS.

 When God said that we are a new creation, that meant we received a new heart. 

A pure heart, uncontaminated from the world.

Yes, in the old testament we had a wicked heart, but when Jesus saved us, He gave us a new heart.

Ezekiel 36:26-27

"I will give you a new heart and put a new heart within you. "I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

"I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My judgments and do them.

We use to have a wicked and deceitful heart, before we were born again of God's Spirit.

Beloved, when you hear preaching quoting Jerimiah 17:9,

 About a wicked heart, that is not for you, Jesus did not put a wicked heart in you, but a pure new heart.

Yes, before we were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, we had a wicked heart. 

But NOW, we have a new heart, where Jesus lives inside of us.

Beloved, if you believe your heart is wicked, you will not be at peace, you will be unsettled in your mind, causing confusion, fear, and doubting your salvation.

1Timothy 1:5-

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, and good conscience and from sincere faith,

Beloved, the law is good, if it is used lawfully.

Paul quoted from the law. Obeying the law cannot justify you, only the blood of Jesus can justify you. 

But He told Timothy the law is good.

It will reveal sin of all kinds to avoid.

Jesus fulfilled the law in every aspect, showing us that we also as a new creation with a new pure heart can also fulfill that law of love.

Under the New Covenant we have a new D.N.A.

Divine Nature Achieved. 

By receiving Jesus as our Savior, who now lives inside of us, He has placed the Divine nature in our nature now.

We are to reveal His nature of love, compassion, forgiveness, mercy. It is all in our new heart.

The Holy Spirit has infused our new born again spirit with the divine nature.

Beloved, rightly divide God's word and keep it in context.

When something is new, it has never been before.

Sometimes we will hear a sermon and because it is out of context, we will become confused.

God is not the author of confusion.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore, IF anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold ALL things have become new.

Be careful what you hear or read in your new nature. There is joy and peace in that new nature.

Example: 1 Corinthians 2:9, but they leave out the part in verse 10. 

In verse 9 it says that we can't know, yet in verse 10, it is revealed that we can know.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

"Eye had not seen, nor ear heard, Nor has entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him"

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.

I recently heard a preacher quote verse 9 and leave out 10, I love and respect him, but will write him about this, we all are growing in different areas. 

So with our new heart we can know the things that God has freely given to us. It is all in His word.

The Holy Spirit will teach us more and more as we grow in the Lord. 

He will reveal those things that are not understood at first, with our first hearing about them.

Always ask the Lord to reveal those hidden treasures. 

SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND the things that belong to you as a believer in Jesus Christ.

If you have never invited Jesus into your life, do it now. 

He will place a new heart in you and forgive all your sins. So repent, turn from your sins and receive the gift of life. JESUS!
