IT IS TIME TO REFLECT ON ALL GOD HAS DONE THIS YEAR IN OUR LIFE. PART 2

Beloved, a New Year is another season  of our life to reflect the character and nature of our Lord.  

Sharing all His goodness. His grace, mercy and compassion, salvation to those who are lost or wounded.

Romans 6:4

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Share that good news this year with someone that needs to hear it.

For those who receive Jesus as Lord and Savior, not just so that they will feel better, but for their eternal soul.

We have a new year to walk in truth, the truth of God's word. That is unless Jesus comes this year.

It's a matter of our heart, not our mind. We must renew our mind daily in God's word.

 That's when the deep truths of God's word, go from our head to our heart, then it carries life.

As the world gets darker, we will become lighter, brighter to those that are perishing without Jesus.

Remember beloved, God's word carries great power to save the lost. 

Always include scripture when sharing with a lost person. John 3:16-17 are a good start.

Ecclesiastes 8:4

Where the word of the king is, there is power; and who may say to Him, "What are you doing?"

Isaiah 43:18-19

"Do not remember the former things.  Nor consider the things of old. 

Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? 

I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.

When we are in our wilderness experience, look for that road that the Lord has provided for us, the road that leads us to freedom. JESUS, He is the way, the truth and the life.

The rivers speak of water, we have the living water flowing through us, so we can be strengthened and refreshed by just calling on Jesus.

Beloved, let the Holy Spirit direct you to the people that are ready to hear the good news of Salvation. 

Not everyone is ready.  The Lord will direct you to those that are ready.

Thank God for the New Year to get things right.

Things we thought we knew and understood, yet as we grow in Jesus we gain a greater understanding of His ways. So unlike ours ways.

Be prepared to experience new things and meeting new people that God will place in our life. 

To love them, no matter their religion, race, or where they come from. 

Love speaks louder than words.

This New Year, do not feel obligated to mans demands. Change is good while you grow in the Lord.

 Listen to the Holy Spirit, He will direct your steps. 

Allow the Holy Spirit to show you what your priorities are, according to God, not to man.

Much of the time we take on things that God never intended us to do. 

He had someone else prepared for that task.

Sometimes our good intentions, will lead us astray. 

Causing us to feel out of place and unsure of what we are doing, placing us into bondage.

Beloved, it is so important that we receive our direction from the Holy Spirit, there will be peace and rest for your soul.

Pray for wisdom, if you are walking in the wisdom of God you will have peace.

Proverbs 3:17-18 (Speaking of wisdom)

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, all her paths are peace.

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her.

Beloved, you have another year to learn and get things right that were out of balance. 

Letting go of things that were unnecessary to hang on to.

We learn from our errors, and we begin to see things in our walk differently. A brighter path.

Seeing things that were in our flesh and not the Spirit.

Do our actions lead to peace? They should.

Ecclesiastes 7:19 

Wisdom strengthens the wise more than ten rulers of the city.

Pray for God's wisdom before you move on to anything new.  He will direct you.

Wisdom will tell us what to speak and when to speak and when to keep silent.

Listen and silent have the same letters. Hum

Sometimes God wants to bring someone to the end of themselves in order to reach their heart. 

We just move in too fast ruled by our emotions and it was not time yet. Wait on God's timing.

 The Holy Spirit will always direct us when the time is right.

Looking forward to the New Year. 

To learn new things from the Holy Spirit, Things that He feels we are ready for now in this New Year.

Seeing those hidden treasures, those things that bounce out at you, that you never noticed before.

Sometimes those growing pains hurt, but its a good hurt. 

Be willing to suffer for growth in the Lord. 

Never let your ministry become an obligation, feel privileged that God chose to use you to bless and empower you for His kingdom. 

Stay humble, never promote yourself, let God do it. 

When God does it, it will be a blessing, when you do it, it will be a hurt and cause confusion.

James 3:16 

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 

Let God have His way. Be as a child in His care.

Stay teachable, keep your spiritual ears open.

As there is a famine of the hearing of the word of God.

Follow the Lord, obey His word, and His peace and joy will follow.
