IT IS TIME TO REFLECT ON ALL THAT GOD HAS DONE THIS YEAR IN OUR LIFE. PART 1

 With the New year coming in a few days, there will be new people coming into our life.

Those that God has sent.

If we have grown in the Lord, we will begin to see things differently than last year.

It is as though a veil has been lifted so as to see things the way God sees them. ( That is called Wisdom)

James 1:5-7

If anyone lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  Let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like the wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 

For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.

Beloved, there will be new trials of our faith.

Do we keep our focus on Jesus and all that he has said in His word?  Or do we turn to the world system for our answers?

1John 2:15

Do not love the world of the things in the world, If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of the Father but of the world.

While we reflect on God's faithfulness and goodness, remember His ways are not our ways, they are far above what we can think or can do.

We pray one way and He answers differently than we thought or have asked. 

Only to find out later on that Jesus was setting us up for a greater blessing.

Staying faithful to God's word and living a holy separate life from this world is so important.

Beloved, if you sin, confess it and repent, (change your mind) and forgive yourself and move on. All sins have been dealt with on the cross. Past, present and future.

Jesus is always making intercession for us.

Hebrews 7:25

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

When Jesus said on the cross "It is finished" He didn't mean all the battles, He meant His sacrifice by His blood, suffering horrific pain for all generations. 

He paid the price for our salvation and new life for those that come to Him, all sins are forgiven.

After Jesus rose from the dead, a new life and protection, new understanding of what Jesus meant in His word, we can now comprehend.

It's clear now, because we have the Holy Spirit living in us. He teaches us all we need to know about Jesus our Lord.

Jesus defeated death, hell and the grave.

Like a New year, our journey in Christ Jesus has just begun, last year is behind us, only to be brought up to remember the goodness of God.

A New year will reveal God's direction for us and understanding.

John 5:24

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

So beloved, reflect on all the goodness of God and how He has brought you through to this point. God has given us another year to glorify Him, and reveal His nature.

Part 2 next week. This is just a foundation to build on.

Hallelujah! A New Year is upon us! Celebrate in the power and the Spirit of Him who called us out of the darkness! I understand that every day that the Lord wakes me up, a New Year has started! Old things are passed away! All things are become new! Live in the Present for an Eternity with the King! Happy New Year every day!

Funny Mama Joy I woke up singing in today and reflecting on the goodness of GOD. I LOVE HOW HE INTERTWINES YOUR HEART WITH MINE THIS WAS LOVELY. THANKYOU. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us. God's word is a light unto our path.  Psalms 119:104-105 Through Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way. Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
