THE CHURCH NEEDS RIVIVAL, PERSONAL AND CORPORATE. A WAKE UP CALL FOR ALL BELIEVERS IN JESUS. PART 1

To revive  something, that means it was alive.

(revive is to make alive) to recover, restore, to return to the standard of God. To rejuvenate after there has been stagnation.

Since the world is dead without Jesus and faith in Him, then revival is not for the world, but for the church.

There's a great move of God through out the world. That is an awakening.

That is not revival.

It is the church that needs a revival because it is a living entity.

It was alive to start with, alive in Jesus. until it became complacent, comfortable, and unfruitful, taking on the ways of the world.

Revelation 3:1

"These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars; "I know your works, that you have name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Beloved, pray for revival in God's church.

We see millions of people in the world receiving salvation and being baptized.

They will need a church that is alive with the Holy Spirit of God to disciple them.

To hear the word of God preached from the pulpits so that they can grow in the Lord.

Ezra 9:8

And now for a little while grace has been shown from the Lord our God, to leave us an remnant to escape, to give us a peg in His Holy place. that God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.

Yes, Beloved, some of us are still in bondage to this world.

It has crept into our life little by little and we have not recognize it yet.

The Holy Spirit will restore and revive us in our brokenness.

God extends mercy and grace to us no matter what our situation may be, because of His love for us.

God will always have a remnant of true believers that will hear His voice and follow Him.

So we need a personal revival.

A time when we shut off everything and listen for the voice of Jesus, His sheep hear His voice, He said so!!

WE MAY BE DELIVERED FOR A TIME, BUT AFTER A WHILE WE DESIRE THE OLD WAY OF DOING THINGS.

It is in our flesh we want to control our circumstances in our life. This will bring trouble in our life.

Ask the Lord, to show you when you need a personal revival, a time of letting go of the old, and receive the new.

Beloved, we need a personal revival, as the whole church of Jesus Christ needs a revival, but it must start at home first.

Jerusalem first, then Judea, and Samaria. Home first.

James 4:8-10

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.

Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded.

Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he will life you up.

James is making himself clear as to what true repentance should look like. He is addressing the church.

We should be sorry for our sins, when we say we are Christians.

Recognize when you seem to be drifting into the world system, following their way of doing things.

We are to see things in the light of God's word. We are to obey God's word and live in the life Jesus said that we have in Him.

Accept the positive and the negative.

It is there to bring correction, and discipline.

God wants us healthy and whole. Shining bright for the world to see, that God's people are not like this old world and its system.

They still have the joy of the Lord in hard times, they still trust in Jesus, no matter what comes. They know they do not belong to this world.

There is too much pride and frivolity replacing the true gospel today in some meetings.

Popular speakers that want applause from man. They have allowed pride to take over and it is evident.

They need to die to self. We need to pray for them. Men and women ministers.

Remember, what Jesus said in Revelation to the churches.

All their works were not what God cared about, He cared more about where their heart was.

So beloved, get alone with God, let the Holy Spirit show you where you are at in your Christian life.

Have personal revival.

Part 2 next week.

God bless your day

Jesus loves you

The church at large needs to experience the "Shalom" of God. It will create and sustain a God hunger that only His Presence can supply! Revival is the Fruit His Presence brings! Great Word!
