SUBMIT TO GOD, AND RESIST THE DEVIL.

 When we set our mind and heart to submit to God, then, that is when we can resist the devil and he will flee from us.

James 4:7

Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 

What does it mean to submit to God?

It means submit your will, emotions and mind to God, your whole being.

Resist and oppose the enemy, he will flee when he sees that you have left no opening for him.

When we submit to God, then Jesus is on our side.  

The precious blood of Jesus speaks loud to the enemies ears.

Let me encourage you to read all of James chapter 4. 

Hear the heart of God through James.

If you have sinned, confess it quickly, as Jesus has already paid for it, and leave no entrance to the enemy. He goes for your mind.

He is the father of lies, if he gains an entrance because of sin unconfessed, he will lie to you and try to convince you that God doesn't love you.

The battlefield is in the mind, as Ern Baxter wrote in his book years ago. 

He went home to Jesus in 1993, great man of God. He was 79. 

So many of our great men of God are home with Jesus.

Our words and actions can make an entrance for the enemy to harass us with his lies, 

IF THOSE WORDS ARE NEGATIVE AND FULL OF DOUBT AND UNBELIEF, CRITICAL AND JUDGMENTAL.

36 times you can see in the gospels that Jesus spoke about the enemy. Satan.

When we submit to God and stop trying to control our own life by our works, we will have the strength to resist the evil one.

When I pray, I always apply the blood of Jesus to myself and family, and all those that I come in contact with or are praying for. 

Satan hates the blood of Jesus, because it defeated him at the cross.

Be mindful of the spiritual weapons that God has given to us. 

Remember Jesus fought Satan with the word of God.

Use God's word as your sword of the spirit.

Ephesians 6:17-18

And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the  Spirit, being watchful to this end with perseverance and supplication for all the saints.

Beloved, you know what your great weapon is, so use it. Jesus did.

THAT WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL!!

Hebrew 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two -edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 

IT IS YOUR WEAPON, YOUR SWORD, USE IT!!

Amen! The Word of God IS Jesus. The devil has no defense against Him! We have been given all authority to use His Name and be the overcomer He has destined us to be! Hallelujah! The Word works! Work the Word!

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens) Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. THERE IS A TIME AND SEASON FOR EVERYTHING, INCLUDING OUR WALK WITH THE LORD.

Have you ever noticed that as the seasons change so do we? (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) Ecclesiastes 3:1 To everything there is a season,  A time for every purpose under heaven: (Read 1-8) We also have seasons in our life. When at times we have little fellowship with others and other times we have great fellowship. We have a time of new understanding, and of seeing  our Lord in a new light. Brighter than before.
