WE ARE SAVED AND LIVING BY GOD'S GRACE FOR A REASON.
Beloved, we were not saved to sit in a pew, hear a quick message and a few songs, and shake hands and leave like we came.
There should be a change. Something that we needed to hear from God's word. For it is Spirit and life.
Acts 1:6-8
Therefore when they had all come together, they asked Him, saying "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to them,
"It is not for you to know times and seasons which your Father has put in His own authority.
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
It is obvious that we were saved for a purpose.
We are to be witnesses for Jesus.
There is an old song we use to sing.
"You won't leave here as you came, bound oppressed, tormented sick or lame. For the Holy Spirit is still the same, you won't leave here like you came in Jesus name.
Have you ever thought that when we gather together with other believers, that we are to minister to one another?
We are not suppose to leave church just as we came in, there should always be something fresh and new that we will learn about Jesus and the kingdom we now live in.
We should be led by the Holy Spirit in how we minister to one another.
None of us have all the answers, but together when just the right word is spoken, it can bring light into someone else's darkness.
1Corinthians 14:26
How is it then, brethren? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation. Let all things be done for edification.
See, Beloved, there are not super Christian's, we all can minister as the Spirit leads.
Those that promote themselves to look extra special, are no different than any of us.
Galatians 2:6 (Read the whole context)
But from those who seemed to be something--whatever they were, it makes no difference to me.
God shows personal favoritism to no man- for those who seemed to be something added nothing to me.
Paul was speaking about false brethren, spying out the liberty that Paul and the others have in Christ Jesus.
God makes it clear, that He favors no man.
We are a body and we function together.
We were all saved to share God's love and redemption.
The Gospel is the good news that there is forgiveness in Jesus.
Beloved, we can not convince anyone to be saved, but what we can do, is share the truth of God's word, and it stands on it's own.
Like the old saying goes,
"You can lead a horse to water, but can not make him drink.
Wrong, if you salt his oats it will make him thirsty.
Jesus said, we are the salt of the earth. Time to salt someone's oats, with the word of God.
Salt is a preservative, we are to be that to a sick dying world.
So we were not saved to just look good in church and be a pew warmer, we are saved to share the gospel.
That is letting the unsaved outsider know that there is hope and change for them.
So, how hard can it be, to tell someone that Jesus has a new life for them and that He loves them?
When we follow the promptings of the Holy Spirit, it is not hard at all.
Jesus is coming soon, share the good news of salvation. Let God use you to make a difference in someone's life.
God bless you day
Jesus loves you
Love in Jesus
Joy
