KNOWING THE MYSTERIES OF GOD, AND KNOWING HIS WILL.

 Can we know the mysteries of God?  Oh yes.

When we make an effort to know and study God's word, and understand the love God has for us.

Ephesians 1:7-10

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both in heaven and which are on the earth.

People ask, "how can I know God's will"? Beloved, God's will is in His word. 

God made it simple for us, by putting His will in His word.  And we have the Holy Spirit to direct us.

If we have a close relationship with our Lord Jesus, we will know God's will.

The word says that the Holy Spirit will bring to our remembrance all that Jesus has said.

Can we know the will of God?  YES.

When you find it there will be great peace.

WHAT IS A MYSTERY.

A mystery is a hidden thing that is not obvious to our understanding.  It can only be known by revelation. 

It's a hidden treasure, something we must follow the clues and dig deeper to receive. 

Jesus said, seek and you will find.

Beloved, we are to know the mysteries of the kingdom, that was kept until Jesus revealed it.

1 Corinthians 2:7-8

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,  which none of the rulers of this age knew;    for had they known they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.


The disciples were stewards of the mysteries of God. (Plural)

For there are many hidden mysteries of God, only to be perceived by wisdom and revelation.

However, there is a condition to be met, in order  to receive the mysteries of God.

That condition is love.

1 Corinthians 13:2

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

Beloved, love is the motivator.

There is a great mystery about God's kingdom being revealed to us.

When we pay attention to all the clues that are set before us in God's word.  We will know the revelation of God's will.

Search out these revelations, and know what belongs to you as part of the body of Christ.

The mystery of God's great mercy towards us, we do not deserve it.  It is a mystery to our finite minds,  But we can know them by the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 2:9

But it is written:

"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."

But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit.  For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 

Beloved, if you are born again, and have the Holy Spirit living inside of you, you can search out the mysteries of God and understand them.

Colossians 2:2

that their hearts may be encouraged,  being knit together in love, and attaining to all the riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ.

 Beloved, search out those mysteries, it will bless your life. 

You will see the great hidden treasures that God has for you, but you must seek them.

This will take effort on your part, because you love Jesus and His word.

I am thinking about how necessary it is for us to grasp these mysteries and how they apply themselves to my own life. How sadly ill equipped I find myself to meditate on His Word! Always in a hurry and never slowing down! Oh. Help me Lord, to take whatever time necessary to apprehend and appreciate what You have said so clearly!

SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong. Read God's word and see how many times He chose to bless and not curse His people. God knows our every move and cares that we understand there is obedience to His word that will help us.
