SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life.

Science says, that we need four basic elements to sustain life and survive.

We need air, water, food, and light.

We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord.

Science is right. It has proven God's word is true.

Acts 17:25 (Paul was speaking about the Unknown God to the men in Athens)

Nor is He worshipped with men's hands, as though He needed anything, Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

We need air in order to breathe.

When we receive Jesus we have His breath, breathing through our lungs.

When we breathe, we speak the name of God.

Just speaking His name, we inhale YAH and exhale WEH.   YHWH means breath of life.

Our Jewish brothers and sisters know the name of God means breath of God.

This is an interesting fact that we believers need to know.

We also need light.

John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, "I am the light of the world; He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.

We need food to survive, we need water, to be strong and healthy.

John 6:48-51

I am the bread of life. Your Fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.  This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat it and not die.

I am the living bread which came down from heaven.  If anyone eats this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.

We need water in order to survive.

John 4 :10

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."

John 7:38

He who believes in Me, as the scriptures has said, out of his heart shall flow rivers of living water.

Beloved, Science has it correct. They have proven the word of God to be true.

Science has much to offer us, if it measures up to God's word.

We have brothers and sister in the calling of being a scientist. They love to prove that God's word is true.

Hugh Ross, is one of those brothers, he has the ministry called, "Reasons to believe'

Beloved, God placed us on this earth, to live and love and serve the Lord.

Scientist can help save lives, it is in their calling and gifting from the Lord.  

When led by the Holy Spirit they can make a big difference in the world. 

There are good scientist and yes, some bad ones.

They find answers by exploring and investigating things we do not understand.  They have a greater understanding of our world than we do.

So don't throw the baby out with the bath water, just because of the bad ones.

There is much we can learn and apply to our lives from others gifting's.

Remember (1 Corinthians 12:5-7)

I Corinthians 12: 11

But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

Not as man decides! 

There are spiritual ways of doing things and there are natural ways of doing things.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you through God's word. 

Ask questions, if you fail to understand something.  The Holy Spirit is your teacher and loves to give you the answers.

Do you want to be like Moses?  knowing the ways of God?

Psalm 103:7-13

He made known His ways to Moses,  His acts to the children of Israel.

I would rather know the ways of God, not just see His acts.

Be like the scientist, search, explore, investigate.

Find the hidden treasure in God's word.

There is much to learn from God's word.  It is all there, if we search and dig deep, and have the desire to know the things of God.

So thank the Lord, for His word, and the gifts He has given to us. 

Thank Him for His breath in our lungs, thank Him for the food we have and water we drink.  Thank Him for His Son, who gives us life.
