IF YOU KNEW THAT JESUS WOULD COME TODAY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERNTLY?
Is there a neighbor that needs to know Jesus? Would you share God's love to them?
Ask yourself is there anything that I would do differently? Do I walk with Jesus daily?
Beloved, we are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.
If the way we live has not shown our neighbors the love of God, then there is something we can do before Jesus comes. Our life should live out our faith.
If I knew Jesus was coming today, there is something that I would do different, follow the Holy Spirit more closely.
Have you ever had a situation where you feel that you missed God's leading?
I have, when I returned from my errand, I felt I should have spoken to that person about the love of God.
We do miss times that we could have shared Jesus.
Be filled daily with the word of God, it is fuel for your spiritual tank.
Like Paul said, if we are obedient to God's word and if we walk in the Spirit, we are ready for Jesus to return.
Matthew 24:42-44
"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. "But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into,
"Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
For some people Jesus will come in their last hours on earth through sickness or disease.
Beloved, Jesus comes in many ways in our life.
Yet, there will be that great day when every eye will see Him coming in great glory.
Mark 13:24-26
" But in those days, after the tribulation, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light; the stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
"Then they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Beloved, be ready everyday. We will encounter situations that we haven't a clue as to what we are to do. Call on Jesus, He will come with the answer.
Do all He has said to do in His word and leave the rest to Him.
Whatever it is that you cannot deal with, Jesus has already made provision for it.
Remember when Peter and the disciples had fished all night and caught nothing?
God had already called the fish to a certain area for the catch.
Luke 5:4-7
When Jesus had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, "Launch out into the deep and let down your nets (Plural) for a catch."
But Simon answered and said to Him, "Master we have toiled all night and caught nothing; never the less I will let down the net. (Singular)
And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.
So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
Never underestimate what Jesus can do when you are weary and tired and disappointed.
It is when we feel helpless, that a great miracle in our life will come. We are not in control, God is!!
Ephesians 3:20
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Beloved, that power is the power of His word and Spirit.
Jesus will come into our need when we least expect it. When there is no answer that we see.
The bride of Christ is always ready she sleeps in her wedding garment, she is always ready.
We are clothed in Jesus righteousness, that is our wedding garment.
The oil in our lamps is the presence of the Holy Spirit.
Fellowship with the Holy Spirit is our extra oil. He keeps the fire of love burning in our heart for Jesus.
Oil has to be bought, that means there is a price to be paid.
In order for us to have continual presence of God in our lives, that price is spending quality time at the feet of Jesus, as Mary, Martha's sister did.
When the bridegroom comes we will go in with Him, then He will shut the door.
The foolish virgins, I believe, are the ones who are stuck in their religious activities and they have not had fellowship with the Lord Jesus. They depended on all their works. (Just my opinion)
For years people believed that Jesus would come in their lifetime. But Israel was not yet a nation.
This generation has seen all that was predicted about Israel 1948.
The desert has bloomed, there is water sources, and the enemies of Israel has surrounded her.
Yes, Beloved, Jesus can come at anytime.
Stay in God's word.
Proverbs 4:20-23
My son, give attention to my word; In cline your ear to my sayings, Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
We are surrounded with God's love and ministering angels.
Don't depend on the world to change, we are not of this world. It will get worse.
2Thessalonians 2:1-4
Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come.
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
Beloved, as soon as the son of perdition is revealed, Jesus will come for His bride.
None of us know that time, we can guess and see things culminating in that direction.
Not even Jesus or the angels, but only the Father knows when.
Like the Jewish custom, the Father will tell the Son when it is time to get His bride.
There are great awakenings going on right now, some of the church is waking up. Others are doing business as usual and perverting God's word.
God is calling the lost, hurt and wounded and unsaved in all over the world. The Holy Spirit is convicting hearts everywhere.
Praise God for the great revival and awakening going on right now. Pray for those coming into God's kingdom.
I saw this in the 1960's and when it looked the worst, God moved in a mighty way.
Today we have ministers like Jack Hibbs and Greg Laurie who were saved at that time.
God's word tell us to pray for all people. We are to pray for all that are in authority.
1Timothy 2:1-4
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made to all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in godliness and reverence.
For this is good in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
Beloved, even if we disagree with those in authority with their words and actions, still pray for them, because God's word tell us to.
Our flesh does not want to pray for those that we disagree with, but the Holy Spirit in us draws us to pray for all people. Be obedient to God's word.
The bride will be without spot or wrinkle.
I think how it takes heat and steam to remove wrinkles, they must be applied and with pressure.
Right now many in the body of Christ are feeling the heat of the Spirit. Wrinkles are being dealt with, ironed out.
Things that were hidden or ignored by us, are being revealed and removed, ironed out.
Yes, Jesus is coming. he is coming in our confusion and pain.
He is coming to reveal to you that following Him makes a big difference in your life.
He told us to rest and stop striving.
On the cross Jesus said it is finished, yet we keep trying to add to His finished work. Why? When He paid a horrible price to redeem us. It is finished!
Beloved, we are to live under His grace that special gift we have in Jesus that is undeserved, unearned favor, it is ours.
Yes, Beloved, Jesus is coming soon, in all of our situations, He is coming as soon as we call Him.
1. First the rapture, the catching away,
2. Then 7 years of hell on this earth, then Jesus will return with the saints with Him, every eye will see Him coming in the clouds of great glory.
Jude 1:14
Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying "Behold the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
Remember Beloved, His time is not our time.
When it is time, we will know, it will be made plain for us. (1John 2:20)
Meantime, occupy until Jesus comes. Be busy doing what the Holy Spirit leads you to do.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
Love in Jesus
