ARE YOU A LOVER OR FIGHTER PART 2

In the old testament we see that the worshipers went before the army. Think on this! 2 Chronicles 20:21 And when he had appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying  "Praise the Lord,  For His mercy endures forever." Now when they began to sing and to praise,  the Lord set an ambush against the people of Ammon,  Moab, and Mount Se'ir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated. Beloved, notice that it was the worship of the Lord, that brought the presence of the Lord into the battle.  When you feel that you are in a battle, sing, worship God, bring His presence into the situation you are facing. 1Chronicles 15:16 Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be singers accompanied by instruments of music,  stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, by raising the voice with resounding joy. This is when David was br...

ARE YOU A LOVER OR A FIGHTER? PART 1.

One is gentle and tenderhearted, the other is bold and strong and equipped to fight. Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. Beloved, you are in Christ, you need to understand that you are both lover and warrior fighter. Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate;  A time of war, and a time of peace. 1Corintians 16:14 Let all that you do be done in love. 1John 4:12-16 No one has seen God at anytime. (That is in His fullness)  If we love one another,  God abides in us,  and His love has been perfected in us.  By this we know that we abide in Him, And He in us,  because He has given to us His Spirit.  And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world. Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.  And we have known and believe the love that God has for us. For God is love, and he who abides in lov...

IF YOU KNEW THAT JESUS WOULD COME TODAY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERNTLY?

Is there a neighbor that needs to know Jesus?  Would you share God's love to them? Ask yourself is there anything that I would do differently?  Do I walk with Jesus daily? Beloved, we are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.   If the way we live has not shown our neighbors the love of God, then there is something we can do before Jesus comes. Our life should live out our faith. If I knew Jesus was coming today, there is something that I would do different,  follow the Holy Spirit more closely. Have you ever had a situation where you feel that you missed God's leading? I have, when I returned from my errand, I felt I should have spoken to that person about the love of God.  We do miss times that we could have shared Jesus. Be filled daily with the word of God, it is fuel for your spiritual tank.  Like Paul said,  if we are obedient to God's word and if we walk in the Spirit, we are ready for Jesus to return. Matthew 24:42-44 "Watch ...

THE DIFFERENCES OF MINISTIES AND GIFTS AND ACTIVITIES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

I hear so many pastors and leaders judge and critique other ministries.  I ask myself, have they not read 1 Corinthians 12:4? 1Corinthians 12:4 There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.  And there are diversities of activities, but the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another a word of knowledge through the same Spirit,  to another faith by the same Spirit,  to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,  to another the working of miracles,  to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits,  to another  different kinds of tongues, to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things,  distributing to each one individually as He wills.   For as the body is one and has many members...

Not man's wisdom, but, the Holy Spirit's teaching and anointing is what brings change in a life.

Man's wisdom is natural reasoning, the Holy Spirit has Godly reasoning. These are total opposite of each other.  Man's reasoning is limited, God's is unlimited. Man's wisdom is defined as the ability to use knowledge and understanding. It is to make sound judgement  and perform a just action.  Man can know facts and good principles, and information. All natural. 1Corinthians 2:12-14 Now we have received, NOT the spirit of the world,  but the Spirit who is from God,  that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.  These things we also speak, not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God,  for they are foolishness to him;  nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. If man's wisdom would work for us we would not need the Holy Spirit. Man's wisdom is polluted b...
