ARE YOU A LOVER OR FIGHTER PART 2

In the old testament we see that the worshipers went before the army. Think on this!

2 Chronicles 20:21

And when he had appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying  "Praise the Lord,  For His mercy endures forever."

Now when they began to sing and to praise,  the Lord set an ambush against the people of Ammon,  Moab, and Mount Se'ir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.

Beloved, notice that it was the worship of the Lord, that brought the presence of the Lord into the battle.

When you feel that you are in a battle, sing, worship God, bring His presence into the situation you are facing.

1Chronicles 15:16

Then David spoke to the leaders of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be singers accompanied by instruments of music,  stringed instruments, harps, and cymbals, by raising the voice with resounding joy.

This is when David was bringing the ARK of the covenant to Jerusalem.  The ARK represents the very presence of the Lord.

Notice the singers and music went before the ARK. We can learn from this, that songs to the Lord and worship with loud instruments bring the presence of the Lord.

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,  singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Beloved, do you want to see God's hand move in your situation or battle? Sing praise to the Lord with song, with your heart and mind on the Lord. Songs of rejoicing, full of joy, because of the goodness of God,  He loves that.

Worshipping God in song before entering the battle will set the stage for victory.  With God's presence you cannot lose.

When you heart is full of worship and song, the battle is no longer yours, but the Lord's.

2Chronicles 20:15

And he said, "Listen, all you of Judah ( Judah means Praise) and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat!  Thus says the Lord to you;  Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude,  for the battle is not yours, but God's.

It is easy to be a lover and a fighter when the battle belongs to the Lord.

Never forget that our weapons are not natural,  but mighty through God.

2 Corinthians 10:4

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for the pulling down strongholds.

Beloved, Jesus won our battles on the cross.  He took it all on Himself.  If you are Christ's, He paid for all your sins, sicknesses and disease.

When you feel like you are failing, look to the cross.  And remember you have been crucified with Christ. You belong to Him.

A crucified person has no plans,  they can't see behind them (where shame and condemnation are) they can only look ahead.

They have to rely on the Holy Spirit for everything.

Because you belong to Jesus you have His protection and provision.

Philippians 4:19

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Notice, it is our needs, not our greed's.

When you find yourself in a battle, and feel weak and unable to cope, remember God is strong, when you are weak.

Like He told Paul about the thorn in his flesh.

2Corinthians 12:9

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you,  for My strength is made perfect in weakness."

Beloved, it is alright when we feel weak. to tell  it to the Lord.  He already knows what you are feeling.

If you think you can handle things yourself,  God will back off and let you, until you come to the end of yourself and realize that you can't handle this, that you need the Lords help.

We are more than conquerors in Christ.

Romans 8:37

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

We are more than conquerors through Him, not in ourselves.

Yes, Beloved, we are warriors and lovers, worshippers and fighters, only our fight is in the Spirit not in our flesh.

Knowing this, this should cause you to relax and enjoy your life in Jesus, rest in His love.

He has it all planned, and we win,  I read the back of the book.

When you feel unsure about something, look up your answer, it is in God's word.  All you need for support and assurance is in those pages.

God Bless your day

Jesus loves you

“Bring His presence into your situation” is such a great statement. So many times we find ourselves already in the situation and then we invite Him in. This is a shift in thinking…take Him into the situation from the beginning by always being in a state of praise/worship!

Powerful truths for trying times 🙏 The closer we get to God the more the enemy rages. He tries everything to get us to fight by his rules in his realm, and make us feel like defensive victims instead of fighting our battles in the Spirit where we are already overcoming conquerors! Great Word! Love you sister ❤️🙏😄
