WHAT IS ETERNAL LIFE?
The answer is found in the bible. The prayer Jesus prayed to His Father.
John 17:3
"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
To know God is to be intimately acquainted with Him. To know and understand, to perceive and recognize who He is.
Beloved, He created all that you can see, and gave man the wisdom to build on His creation.
We can experience Eternal life right now if we have received Jesus as Lord.
Yes, we have Eternal life and will live in heaven, however we already have Eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.
He reveals to us all that the Father has revealed to Him.
Too many of God's children live below their means.
They think like the world and act like the world.
God wants us to experience our Eternal life right now while we live on this earth.
God has given to us, great gifts, provisions, and relationships of those like minded, so we can enjoy our Eternal life right now.
Picture yourself in the boot camp of life.
Where you learn to obey God, and to experience all His provision. Where He supplies all you need.
Where you will learn to love people, share and be concerned for each other.
We can not begin to comprehend all that God is.
The fact that the full Trinity lives inside of us.
John 14:23
Jesus answered and said to him,
""If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word: and My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.
John 14:16-17
"And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
So after the resurrection, Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to live in us, that is the full Trinity.
Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
Beloved, God wants you to experience Eternal life right now.
The Holy Spirit will reveal Eternal things to us as we walk in obedience to Gods word.
As we grow in our faith in the Lord, He will reveal more and more to us of the things that belong to us as we follow Jesus.
1Corinthians 2:9-10
But as it is written,
"Eye has not seen nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
(10) But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
If we would read the whole message, we would see a clear picture.
I have heard preachers quote verse 9, but it has missed the full meaning, it was taken out of context. They will read verse 9 and stop there.
The best part with clear understanding is in verse 10.
Verse 10 reveals that we can know the things freely given to us by God through the Holy Spirit.
Never read just a line, but read the full meaning of the message. Top to bottom and you will see the clear meaning of the message.
Experience the Eternal life that Jesus provided for you.
We will have detours and road blocks occasionally, but just keep going.
Sometime we can speak to a road block and it will move, other times we will see another way to go, when it is God's timing we will reach our destination.
Enjoy the detours, as they will lead you places that you can be a blessing to others.
I had this happen to me recently. I had an appointment at a certain time, but could not find the place.
I was concerned, but I have learned when you hit a solid road block, and you start to get frustrated, that is when we look for Jesus in it.
So I called someone for prayer. My flesh was frustrated.
after receiving prayer and encouragement, I knew where I was to go.
As it turned out the other place that I went to, I had a divine appointment to share Jesus and His love with three people.
We need to learn that when we feel frustrated, we need to stop and ask the Holy Spirit what is going on? Because the Lord orders our steps.
I heard in my spirit where I was to go, and it was such a blessing.
I love God's divine appointments.
Beloved, we all go through those times, and need a brother or sister to pray and encourage us.
We need each other.
We are all equal in God's eyes, no one is any better than anyone else.
Paul made that clear when he addressed a situation in the Corinthian church.
1Corinthians 3:6-9
I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.
Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his labor.
For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, you are God's building.
John 17:3 Is the start of our journey until we get to heaven.
Then we will spend eternity with the Lord. And we will see Him in all of His glory.
Beloved, study to find out what belongs to you in Jesus, and walk as He walked.
He had some strong emotions at times, especially at the self-righteous religious crowd, but he did the will of the Father.
Jesus never sugar -coated anything, He told it like it was and trusted the Holy Spirit to impart it to ears who will hear.
Enjoy your life in Jesus, and be strong in your faith, build your faith daily in God's word.
We all have a measure of faith, but it is up to us to grow that faith, and trust in the Lord.
Walk in your Eternal life.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
Love in Jesus
