WHEN IT SEEMS THAT GOD IS SILENT, HOLD ONTO YOUR FAITH AND TRUST HIM.

 When it seems like God is silent, that is when He is doing the greatest work in us.  He is working behind the scenes.

Your spiritual ears should be open.

Silent and listen, have the same letters, very interesting!

When God seems to be silent, He is listening to our every word, and our thoughts.

Psalms 139:1-6

O Lord,  You have searched me and known me.

You know my sitting down and my rising up;  You understand my thought afar off.

You comprehend my path and my lying down,  And are acquainted with all my ways.

For there is not a word on my tongue,  But You O Lord, You know it altogether.  You have hedged me behind and before,  And laid Your hand upon me.  Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.

God wants to see if we are well equipped and ready to move forward.

There is a blessing being silent before the Lord.

All anxious thoughts fade away.  Bad news that we heard no longer matters.

Being clothed in His glory is all that matters.

John 17:22 ( Jesus praying to the Father)

And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as we are one.

When we are silent before the Lord, we become one with Him.  He can then speak into our life and we will have ears to hear.

You have heard the old saying that silence is golden?

It is far more than that,  it is refreshing our human spirit by the Holy Spirit.

When you do not seem to get answers to your prayers, is does not necessarily mean no.  It could mean you need to wait and learn patience.

That is the time your faith grows and you learn to trust God.

God may want you to see something in your life that is out of line with His word.

Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, O God, know my heart;  Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me,  And lead me in the way everlasting.

When correction is needed,  God has a way to bring it out into the light of His word.

Sometimes we are corrected with the word of God, sometimes a sermon will shine the light on that area that needs change, sometimes just listening to the Holy Spirit in our spirit, will show us there needs to be a change.

As our mind is being renewed daily in the word of God, we will have a better understanding of what a powerful time in prayer He has given to us,

When we are silent before the Lord, we will listen as the Lord speaks to us.  He loves us and has only good planned for us.

In prayer He talks to us and we talk to Him.

Beloved,  when God seems to be silent, don't think it means no to His promise.

1Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in Him are YES, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

2 Peter 1:2-4

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus Christ our Lord,  as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,  by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through  these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Ask the Holy Spirit to open your spiritual ears, and as the disciples heard Father say, "This is My beloved Son, hear Him. (Matthew 17:5)

Beloved it is wonderful to belong to Jesus.

There is big difference between religious traditions and having a relationship with the Lord. Some people sit in church and they hear about Jesus, but don't really know Him personally.

When we have a relationship with Jesus we love to obey His word, it is not a duty to spend time in God's word.  It is a blessing and because we have a love relationship with him, we love to obey all He has said.

We learn more by keeping silent and listening.

Paying close attention to what is being said. Hearing people's heart. Listen to what they say, it will reveal their heart.

Luke 6:45

"Good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good;  and an evil man out of  the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil.  For out of the heart his mouth speaks.

Beloved, learn to listen and you will know what to pray for and how to pray for others.

People have told me that "you don't know my heart" I will show them that what they speak will reveal their heart, Jesus said so.

So learn to listen, and keep silent.  You will learn much.

SCIENCE AND THE BIBLE.

Science proves that God's word has it right for sustaining our life. Science says, that we need   four basic elements to sustain life and survive. We need air, water, food, and light. We have it all in Jesus, if we have received Him as our Lord. Science is right. It has proven God's word is true. SOME BELIEVERS THINK THAT JESUS IS A GLORIFIED BUTLER.  Whatever they ask for they will have, whether it is right or wrong.
