WHERE CAN WE ENCOUNTER THE LORD?

Most people believe that we can only encounter the Lord, in great meetings, like conventions, revivals and in churches, prayer meetings.

Matthew 18:20

For where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there in the midst of them.

Beloved, Peter encountered Jesus by the sea.

His brother Andrew had already brought Simon to see the Messiah. (John 1:42-44)

Matthew 4:18

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brothers,  Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea;  for they were fishermen.

The Samaritan woman at the well encountered Jesus.  (John4:4-42)

Zacchaeus encounter Jesus while up in a tree.  (Luke 19:1-10)

Blind Bartimaeus  encountered Jesus on a road.

(Mark 10:46-52)

The leper on a hill listening to Jesus speak. (Matthew 8:1-3)

Beloved, never limit where you can encounter the Lord Jesus.

He is everywhere you are, if you are His follower.

Remember Jesus chose you.

John 15:16

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, that your fruit should remain and whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Jesus is wherever you need Him to be so that He can reach your heart.

He's in the workplace, office, store, while driving your car.  He is outdoors and indoors, because He lives in you. You carry Him wherever you go.

He is always as near as a whispered prayer.

Luke 17:20

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come,  He answered them and said  "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, See here!" or see there!"  the kingdom of God is within you."

Wow! Think of the enormity of that statement.

Because Jesus lives inside of our Heart, through the Holy Spirit,  the kingdom of God resides there inside of us.

Beloved, as the Holy Spirit develops our trust and faith in God, we start to understand who we are in Christ.

We no longer belong to this world.

In the Lord's prayer from the old King James version, (Before man changed the word)

It says; thy kingdom come thy will be done IN earth,  (not on earth) as it is in heaven.

Beloved, we are the earthen vessel that the kingdom is to come in. Read Luke 17:20 again.

The Lords prayer is telling us where the kingdom of God is, it is in us, IF we have received Jesus as our Savior and Lord.

Galatians 4:7

Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Colossians 2:9-10

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;  and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Ephesians 1:11-12

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,  that we who first trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation;  in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.

Beloved, because you are in Christ Jesus, you can encounter Him wherever you are, because you are in the kingdom of God.

Romans 14:17 (Paul was talking to them about food)

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Ask the Lord, who you can share His love with today.  He will direct you to the right person.

Include the Holy Spirit in all your decision making.  Wait for the word from the Lord, He never fails.

God Bless your day

Jesus loves you

Love in Jesus

Praise God for the Holy Ghost that dwells within us! All we have to do is surrender daily, and He will lead us and guide and direct us all and invite Him into our day!!! Oh the things that He shows us and souls that He has for those Devine appointments daily are mind blowing and so exciting to witness!!! Oh taste and see that the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever. Praise God for all things and through all things and watch the hand of God move!

I love this message, Mama Joy! I wrote in my journal… Beloved, never limit where you can encounter the Lord Jesus. He is always as near as a whispered prayer. Beloved, because you are in Christ Jesus, you can encounter Him wherever you are, because you are in the Kingdom of God. Wow, what powerful truths!
