WHAT IS REAL LOVE ? iT IS AGAPE LOVE, THAT IS UNCONDITIONAL.

The only love that is self-less and has nothing attached to it, is Divine love, Agape love.

The greatest example  of Divine love is that Jesus left heaven and came to earth to be a human and suffer in our place to redeem us back to the Father.

John 3;16-17

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn  the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

A selfless love that is willing to yield to a need, forgetting our own needs and wants and desires.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love suffers long and is kind;  love does not envy;  love does not parade itself, is not puffed up;  does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked,  thinks no evil.  does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in truth;  bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Real love, Divine love in us,  knows how to suffer all things.  When we allow God's kind of love to engulf us, we can suffer betrayal and pass the hurt onto Jesus and let it go.  Forgiving the one who hurt us.

Agape love, the real love of God, is what we all want and need.  Unconditional love that we have in Jesus.

If love could change the Corinthian church, it can change anyone.

We need to submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit and allow Him to produce that kind of love in us.

Philippians 2:3-5

Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.

Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interest of others.

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.

Beloved, our spiritual gifts operate by that kind of love, the love that loves God and others.

Galatians 5:22-26

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self -control.  against such there is no law.  And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

God is calling us to go up to higher ground.

Demonstrating Agape love, a self-less love.

John 13:35

"By this all will know that you are My disciples, IF you have love for one another."

This kind of love is patient when enduring great heartaches, and can only be produced through Divine love in you that we have in Jesus!

Matthew 5:43-44

You have heard that it was said, "You shall love you neighbor and hate your enemy."  "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.

The purpose of this kind of love is to bring out the good in the other person. 

Proverbs 15:1

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Real love is kind and full of the grace of God!

God's kind of love is not touchy or irritable.

This doesn't mean that you will never be emotionally upset or irritated.

Jesus was irritated with the Pharisees, and Sadducees.

Paul was upset about Mark not continuing with them on their outreach.  Yet later Paul asked for Mark to come that he was needed.

What it does means, is that you have a love in you that helps you with self-control.  

One of the attributes of the fruit of the Spirit.  I find it interesting that self-control is listed last in the fruit of the Spirit.

The Lord knows that we are human and will need this control in our life.

Beloved, let me encourage you to read 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 often until it is seeded in your heart.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God.  Our faith is demonstrated by the love we walk in.

With Jesus' love in your life, you will be happier and envied.  My Amplified bible says that to be blessed is to be happy and envied.

Beloved, we are a blessed people.  With the love of God in our being.

Eloquent speech is nothing but noise, when there is no love in that person. (I read that in an old book)

Agape love stimulates a Believers life.  It motivates the right responses and actions.

We have a spiritual thermometer inside of us.

When you feel that rise up, you are about to react in the old sinful nature. (The flesh)

So pray that the Holy Spirit will help you control your emotions.

That's all in the soul, the mind, will and emotions.  That's what needs saving.

Be mindful of that spiritual thermometer.  You will know the difference, Pray, think before you react or say something you will regret.

Take time to reflect on all Jesus has provided for us.  So that we can walk in freedom and blessing.

There are different kinds of love that we will address later, but now is the time to share Agape love. No strings attached.

The other loves are conditional, I will love you if you do this or that.

Agape is so different, it is a Divine love, from our heavenly Father.

1John 4:7-9

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.  In this the love of God was manifested towards us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world,  that we might live through Him.

1John 4: 17

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is so are we in this world. 

Let the love of God work in your life and walk in that love. Lives will be changed, and hearts mended.
