ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING AND IN EVERYTHING?

It seems difficult at times to be grateful for things that hurt our heart, or pain in our body.

Ephesians 5:20-21

Giving thanks always FOR all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.

We are to be thankful FOR all things that comes into out life as a Christian. Can we be thankful for persecution?  Yes, because it is that very thing that causes the church to grow.

1Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, IN everything give thanks;

For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

I heard a well known preacher on TV recently say "you do not have to thank God for everything that comes into your life."

I disagree with him, God's word says different.

The bible says, be thankful, for and in everything.

We are to be thankful for God and His love and salvation.

We are to be thankful for our family, friends and extended family in Jesus.

Always thank God for answered prayer before the answer comes.

Be thankful for another day of life that God has given you.

Could I thank God for the pain and misery I experienced in the hospital? Yes, because it gave me a chance to share God's love with the staff and the cleaning people.  Anyone who came into my room was a divine appointment.

Romans 12:1

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

What we have sacrificed to God, no longer belongs to us, it is His.

When we thank God for whatever comes our way, and not blame the enemy, even if he is the author of our misery.

By thanking God FOR everything, the enemy gets no honor or credit for what we experience.

Resist the devil and he will flee.

When we give the enemy too much thought and credit, that is exactly what he is after.

By thanking God it puts the enemy out of the picture.

Too many believers give the enemy too much credit, when our thoughts should be on Jesus.

If God is the one who orders our steps, and He does, then whatever comes, be tankful for it.

Always thank Father God for the blood of Jesus, as we overcome by Jesus' blood and by our testimony. ( Rev 12:11)

Beloved, be thankful IN and FOR everything.

Thank God for your health or healing, even before it is manifested.

Thank God for family, even those yet to be born.

Thank God for all his provision.

Thank God for His protection (Psalms 91)

There is so much to be thankful for as children of God.

Celebrate with your family, and remember to have everyone say what they are thankful for, it will put the focus on God instead of the meal, now you can enjoy the meal God has provided.

Colossians 2:6-7

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

Colossians 3:14-15

But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be THANKFUL.

This one covers our food.

1Timothy 4:1-5

Now the Spirit expressly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving; for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

Colossians 3:16

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms sand hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Psalm 100:4

Enter His gates with thanksgiving, And His courts with praise, Be thankful to Him, have a grateful, thankful heart. Remember it is all about Jesus.

Happy Thanksgiving Beloved,

God bless your day

Jesus loves you

Love in Jesus

We each have much for to be thankful! Sometimes, we may struggle to see or understand, but when we focus on Jesus, He reveals all things to us. May we never stop offering up our praise and prayers of thankfulness! Happy Thanksgiving!❤️🙏🏻

Thanks so much Joy. I’m getting a double does about persecution as Renner (Gems from the Greek) talked about Timothy and the church going through persecution. Really needed to hear the message about rejoicing in and about everything

Giving thanks can be hard sometimes, but gratitude is the root of happiness. Thanks you Joy for reminding us not to give the enemy credit by dwelling on our problems🙏
