Celebrating Jesus Our Resurrected Lord

Are we aware of all the implications of all the benefits of our Salvation?

Not only is it our guarantee of our place with Jesus for eternity, but it carries far more for us in this life right now.

It is  for our deliverance from fear, the curse of the effects of sin, which are wrong thinking, sickness and disease, and self.

Definition of SELF=Serving Emotions Loving Favor.

Self must yield to the Spirit. Self must die daily.

1John 4:17

Love has been perfected among us in this; that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is so are we in this world.

Beloved, we have been rescued by the blood of Jesus.

All our mistakes, ungodliness, wrong thinking have been taken care of on the cross of Christ Jesus our Lord.

I like to read all of the accounts of the crucifixion and the resurrection in the gospels, because that way we receive the full picture of the scene of His arrest, crucifixion and resurrection.

John:20:19-20

Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled, for fear of the Jews,  Jesus came and stood in the midst and said to them, "peace be with you.

When He had said this,  He showed them His hands and His side.  The the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.

Jesus met the disciples in their place of fear, keep that in mind, as He will meet you in your place of fear and unbelief.

Thomas was not with the others and had to wait eight days before He too would see the resurrected Lord.

Think about this!

John 20:26-29

And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them.  Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in their midst, and said "Peace to you!" Then He said to Thomas, Reach your finger here, look at My hands; and reach  your hand here, and put it in My side, do not be unbelieving, but believing.

And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and My God!" And Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed , Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."

Beloved, think about this Thomas touch Jesus' resurrected body.

If you lock yourself in because of fear and doubt,

Jesus will come to you.

Beloved, know that Jesus will meet you at your need.  Yes, even if you are fearful, discouraged, and unbelieving.

Jesus will come to you and remind you through the Holy Spirit that you are His and that He takes care of His own.

Like with Thomas, we may have to wait awhile for that unbelief to turn into joy and rejoicing.

This is Easter time, and Passover time,

Jesus was crucified as the Passover Lamb of God.

EASTER IS=

E-the empty tomb.(John 20:1-7)

(John 11:25-26)

Remember this celebration is all about our Lord Jesus Christ and all that He has provided for His children through His atonement.

John 21:25

And there are also many other things that Jesus did,  which if they were written one by one,  I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.  Amen.

Remember it all started in a garden, and it ended in a garden. (John 19:41)  the place of the skull.

(John 19:17).

Worship our Lord and Savior as He is coming soon.

God bless your celebration of our resurrected Lord.

I love the acronym for EASTER. It will be good to share this with those who do not know Christ. Thank you for sharing!
