Walking in our heavenly calling.

Ephesians is one of my favorite books in the new testament.

Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ,

35 times Paul emphases what it means to be in Christ.

Here are just a few.

We have been adopted through Christ.

We are beloved in Christ.

We have an inheritance in Christ.

we are sealed in Christ.

We have hope in Christ

We are made alive in Christ.

We are made alive and raised and seated with Him.

We have life, peace and grace in Christ. (Grace being unmerited favor)

We have access through our faith in Christ.

Beloved, Ephesians was written by Paul to prevent any errors.

We are reminded in Ephesians about the things which are not permitted in the Godly children of God.  (Ephesians 5:3-6, Ephesians 4:29-32)

Paul reminds them and us who we are in Jesus Christ and what we have in Him.

Ephesians 3:14-17 (Is a great example of how to pray for each other)

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  that He would grant you, according to his riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,  that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith;  that you being rooted and grounded in love.

Beloved, if you will study Ephesians you will never question again all that God has given you.

Ephesians teaches us to be thankful for all things, whether we understand what is happening or not, just be thankful, God is on His throne watching for His next move.

Watch how God will bring good out of what seems to be a bad situation.

Satan has an arsenals of deception, and lies.

When something bad happens unexpectedly, he immediately comes with His lies about God's faithfulness.

He wants you to believe that He is bigger than He is. Rebuke him!!

Our God through Christ is all powerful in our lives and we are not orphans, but His beloved.

When we feel weak, that is when we are strong, because it is the Lord's strength in us through the Holy Spirit operating in our life.

2 Corinthians 12:10

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.

All through Ephesians is the phrase, In Him, or in Christ.

In Ephesians Paul tells us to  praise the Father for choosing us, the Son for redeeming us, and the Holy Spirit for sealing us.

Beloved,  study Ephesians and know what you have as a believer and disciple of Jesus Christ.

I pray that you will discover the treasures for your soul. Be content in Christ, and learn who you are and what you have as a believer.

Ephesians 5:1-2

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children.  And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us,  an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

Ephesians 5:8

For you were once darkness, but NOW you are light in the Lord, walk as children of light.

Ephesians 3:20

Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

Beloved, that power is the Holy Spirit in you.

Where faith is developed and used in others lives.

Enjoy all you have in Jesus Christ our Lord.  Walk in your heavenly calling.  Fulfill your destiny.

God Bless your day
