The things we learn in motion, are delivered to us through the grace of God.

Faith is one of those graces provided for us by the Spirit of God.

Our faith is developed by hearing God's word and obeying whatever He puts on our heart to do.

Faith is active. We draw on the faith of God.

When we walk by faith in our trials, we learn to endure.

We learn the grace of endurance when we have passed the test of being patient and persevering.  We learn that we have endurance when we come through our trials.

We learn courage when we come through our battles. Courage to say NO! when we need to, either to our flesh, wanting itself to be preserved or by others who insist on our time, when God has told us to rest.

These three graces are so active and in motion.

Faith, endurance, courage.

What exactly is faith?  A firm persuasion, and a firm conviction, trusting God.  It is a supernatural gift.

What is endurance? Abide under, being patient and steadfastness, abiding under trials and discipline.

What is courage?

A willingness to take action and display bravery.

It is doing something that you know is difficult.

You are willing to confront, pain, agony and danger when things are uncertain.

We are to fight the good fight of faith.  A good fight is one you are winning.

1Timothy 6:12

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

We fight from victory not for victory.

Luke 21:19 (Jesus making a bold statement)

"By your patience possess your souls.

Jesus was speaking about the times of the end.  He told them not one hair will be lost. When they see Jerusalem surrounded. They will need patience.

Romans 5:1-5

Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.  And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, character, and character hope.

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Romans 8:25

But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.

2Corinthians 6:4-10

But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God:  in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings,

by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report;  as deceivers and yet true;  as unknown and yet well known; as dying, and behold we live; as chastened, yet not killed;  as sorrowful, yet making many rich, as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

Beloved, Paul covered it all.  Things we will encounter in our walk of faith and in serving God.

Read these things over and over and see the victory that is ours in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Depending on your calling in ministry, you will encounter some of these.  Some of you will encounter all of these things.

You will need faith, endurance and courage.

These graces are yours as you depend on the Lord.

God Bless your day

Jesus loves you
