The difference of wisdom, understanding, and revelation.
God has given us wisdom in His word. We gain understanding with studying and applying God word.
As we begin to understand God's word, we will receive revelation from the Holy Spirit. Once you receive revelation, it can never be taken from you, it is now deep into your spirit.
Revelation comes from a spiritual source, it cannot be taken from your heart.
Receiving revelation will change your life, its no longer head knowledge it is heart knowledge.
Our mind is learning and examining the wisdom and understanding, and as we apply that we have opened our self to receive the supernatural revelation from heaven.
Galatians 1:11-12
But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man.
For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Man can teach us the word of God, but do we retain all that we have been taught? No! because sometimes what we have been taught is mixed with the worlds way of doing things.
That is why faith comes in God's word as we are hearing and hearing over and over again.
The enemy can steal the word from our head, but he cannot steal a revelation that has come from heaven to our heart.
When we are studying God's word we will gain a heart of wisdom.
As our mind is being renewed, we gain wisdom and have understanding.
Revelation can come by sight or feeling, depending on how the Holy Spirit delivers it to you. It will be supernatural.
Wisdom and knowledge make a place to receive revelation from God on what we are to do or say and where we are to go on His timing.
Proverbs 2:10
When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul. Discretion will preserve you; to deliver you from a way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things.
Beloved, gain understanding in God's word and trust the Lord Jesus with your life and in all you do.
You can receive revelation in a vision, or dream, or through a time of prayer.
Remember Peter's vision in Acts 10:9.
I pray this lesson has helped you to know the difference of wisdom, understanding and revelation.
Learn to love God's word, as it is settled in heaven.
Psalm 119:89
Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.
Your faithfulness endures to all generations;
Isaiah 55:11
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth, It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, And shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
Remember the Holy Spirit is the author of God's word.
God bless your day
