IT IS A NEW DAY, WE ARE TO ENJOY IT.
Psalm 118:24
This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
My Pastor Jack Hayford, years ago use to enter the sanctuary saying this scripture. It really stuck with me.
Don't start your day with broken pieces of yesterday, every day is fresh and new, prepared just for you.
Are you overly concerned about what people think about you? Are you overly protective of self ? (fear)
Do you have a concern that what you say may offend? If you do, take authority over the spirit of fear.
You have love and power and a sound mind.
If you have prayed and given your day to the Lord, the Holy Spirit will fill your mouth with the right words.
Are you allowing what others think about you to affect the choices you make?
Have you forgotten that we are crucified with Christ?
Remind yourself, what really matters is what God thinks and says about you His child, and that you obey His word with a heart of love.
To often we allow the enemy to bring up our failures, the ones Jesus took care of at the cross.
Past, present and future sins.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore NOW no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Each day that we have is new and fresh, controlled by the Holy Spirit, because we die to ourselves and obey the word of God.
God always gives more grace where it is needed.
James 4:6
But He gives MORE grace, therefore He says: God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.
Proud people over-estimate their self, and under-estimate others.
1Peter 5:5-7
Likewise you younger people submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility.
God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.
Therefore humble yourselves under the Mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.
Beloved, make an effort to hear from the Spirit what God is speaking in these scriptures.
They are living and powerful and health to all your flesh.
Proverbs 4:20-23
My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those whom find them, and health to all their flesh.
(Study Hebrews 4:12-13)
Enjoy your day, and Praise God for all His goodness.
Read His word. Obey His word. Rest in His love. This is the day the Lord has made, we will REJOICE and be glad it it.
God Bless your day
Jesus loves you
