Where does true wisdom come from?

Not all the believers who have been schooled in the this world system, are really wise.

Some just mimic what they heard from one they perceived to be wise.

Our wisdom should come from knowing God personally and being filled with His word.

Getting plenty of spiritual food so as to not be deceived by those who think they are wise.

If you know God's word you will discern any deception that comes along.

I love how Paul stated in 1 Corinthians about the wise.

1 Corinthians 1: 25-31

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For you see your calling brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.

But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame  the things which are mighty, and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.

But in Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God-and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, that as it is written, "He who glories, let him glory in the Lord."

Beloved, don't judge a book by its cover, there are believers who love Jesus with all their heart, and yet they appear as though they do not.

Paul stated it plainly, so anyone could understand.

Not many were wise, not many were noble or mighty are called.

We tend to see those people who don't dress like us, speak like us, or even act like we think Christians should act (only to become one of the actors)

There are plenty of actors in the body of Christ, but there are also plenty of true followers of Jesus.

Beloved, love people and except them where they are and who they are in Jesus.

You catch the fish, then you clean it, right?

Some have picked up habits from the world before they got saved.

It takes time for the Holy Spirit to train and teach them certain things about the kingdom of God. They will learn and grow in the Lord.

But the important thing is, that they realize they are loved by God and the body of Christ.

Look how patient God was and is with us who are older in our faith now. He is not finished with us yet.

I have a sign on my frig that says

"Be patient with me, God is not finished with me yet"

When I read it, it reminds me the same is true with all of us who claim to follow Jesus Christ our Lord.

Philippians 1:6

being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Beloved, be patient with those that are different than you, be gentle and loving, then they will see Jesus in you and then they will want what you have. Peace, mercy and compassion.

God bless your day

Jesus loves you

love in Jesus

Makes me think and be so grateful to all of those who were patient with me while I was struggling and learning about the Lord. Such a powerful reminder that God is always with us, working on our deep need of Him in every part of our lives. Thank you Joy for the beautiful scriptures❤️🙏🌞
