Why does God want patience worked in our spirit?
Can we administer patience to another believer?
No we cannot!
Patience is part of the fruit of the Spirit, worked into us by the Holy Spirit.
We can however, remind others when patience is needed.
James 1:4
My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing.
If I am understanding James, we choose to LET patience have its perfect work. Something that we can allow to happen. Get self out of the way.
We must choose patience in order to grow in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Do you want to mature? then allow patience to have its perfect work in your walk in the Lord.
Beloved, there is a work of the Holy Spirit going on in us daily. He is working the very character of Jesus in us. Little by little, as we grow we learn more and more.
People that are impulsive, jump ahead followed by their emotions, and they will pay for it down the road.
Impulsive people are ruled by the flesh and their emotions taking control. This is not good. Because these believers are pushed to make quick wrong decisions. Satan pushes the Holy Spirit gently leads.
Flashing thoughts need to be submitted to the Holy Spirit.
Is it self or the devil pushing you to make a wrong move, one that will cost you down the road?
Beloved, learn to take time and pray about any situation you are facing. Learn to wait for your answer from the Lord. There will be peace that follows.
James 1:5-8
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given him.
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting for he who doubts is like a wave of he sea driven and tossed by the wind.
For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Wisdom from God will remind you to be patient, wait to hear from God after you pray.
God's wisdom will always teach you to be patient. Relax and praise the Lord while you wait.
Remember the story of Joseph, He had to wait for God's timing, after his trial, then he was promoted and used of God.
Beloved, LET the Holy Spirit work patience in you so your actions and faith will glorify God and you will become more effective in God's kingdom and according to God's word, you will lack nothing.
God bless your day
Jesus loves you
